I'd be down to hit up the team. As soon as they figure out how they are picking it for next year. Also got a line into the Canadians who look to be actually building a team as well since 3-4 players can be from a different country. I'll see "Oh Canada"
Unfortunately Blackmoor Nova ate my cross country plane ticket. 2 times in 3 months is a bit to much flying for playing I'd love to see a way that we could get some west coast representers. But with the rules being what they are (1 country, captain is in charge till he steps down) we'll have to wait to see how they put it together for next year.

By the way, if you want to play for the US of A next year, I would recommend playing at this tournament:

Most of the ETC guys will be there, and it will be a good chance for you to rub elbows with them, and to make a name for yourself by doing well at the tournament.
I heard this is a great event

They are trickling back in to Stateside but those that played are not big into writing batreps.
The one exception is Darkwynn so I would keep my eye out over on BoLS if you want to know what went down.

Here is a nice review of the US teams performance by the captain of the German national team (in English ):
http://www.40kings.de/?p=1846
I think it summarises well the impressions many Europeans got of the US team, i.e. good players, more or less strange lists that actually worked better than anticipated but were still a handicap and overall great guys to talk to and hang out with.

“It is a horde of foulness, renegades, sub-humans, mutant-slaves, beastmen, pirates and other fugitives from the Emperor's justice. The dregs of the galaxy who have come to gain plunder and win the reward of their gods. They are led and directed by the Chaos Space Marine warbands, veterans of a thousand battles; and amongst them stalked the Titans, their great strides shaking the earth."

Very nice article. Way to make a good impression! Now it won't sting so bad when Team USA steamrolls everyone next year!

I'll write up a summary of the tournament from my perspective with descriptions of my own games sometime this week.
