Wow. Kudos for not only making a sentinel look good (if not precisely legal), but for also for the TFC chimera thing. That looks really boss.

I love this topic!
I will have to finish my vets and post them up when the cruel North Western weather decided to do something other than rain or snow.

Really like that Bastonne!
And Osiskars - your diorama is possibly the best snow scene I've ever seen done on 28mm scale. Serious kudos!
(I do kind of wish you'd left out the pathfinder though - you've done so well showing the guard fighting the cold, I feel like they should be the focus! Just an opinion though, feel free to ignore )

It is hard to follow up that sweet Cadian snow diorama, but here are some shotgun veterans I converted for my ever expanding Praetorian Guard army.
Since these photos were taken I have added some putty to the lasgun power packs to make them look less like batteries and more like ammo clips capable of holding shotgun shells.
The kilted legs were taken from Victoria Lamb's conversion kit, and the heads are from Secret Weapon. Everything else was pure Cadian Shock Troop and Command Squad kits. The barrels of the shotgun were made from flamer nozzel heads cut and filed down to fit on the end of a standard lasgun. I liked the end result as it resembled a heat shield for an automatic shotgun.

Heres a few examples of my Tallarn/desert dudes. I stalled out on the project when the shoulder pads became tedious- verrrry tedious. So I got distracted by warmachine stuff lol
But I found a simple and cheap solution that should get this project back on track in the next couple of months. In the mean time heres a quick shot of a few of the finished conversions (and yes- I know 3 of them are on square bases- its temporary til I make my resin bases :p )
About 40 or 50 of these guys combined with the 70 or 80 old lead guys I have should make for some scary blobs lol

having just finished five of my soon more to come veterans for my victorian IGs i want to contribute these atack shotgunners here to this cool thread...
the shotguns are a conversion made from standard lasguns with cut down muzzles and a new mag from old wheels of drapehooks...
used some fatasy items like complete heads and hats for a bushwhacker look here...

I'm glad this thread got bumped, those Beastmen are awesome and there's too much good stuff here to see it get buried.
I'm currently working on a Cult army that can "count as" Traitor Guard. Here's some of my fave conversions so far:
Still WIP:
