Alpha begins to shake uncontrolaby , his blood boils and his heart skips a beat. He falls to the ground , he quikly removes his mask and vomits blood. Alphas places his mask back on and turns to Merlin
"The Canis...." Alpha falls to the ground

All good and from mem all of my stuff was still in my room at the bunker so im not gonna lose anything

(ic) Terence wakes up strapped to a metal table, an indescribably powerful pain ripples through his arm, so powerfully agonizing that he blacks out again.

When he wakes up again he looks down at his arm and is repulsed by what he sees, hundreds of thousands of tiny wingless bugs are crawling over and through his arm, trailing pieces of sinew and muscle behind them, reknitting his arm back to its origional shape and size however, Terence can still feel the spikes waiting below the skin and has no doubt that the rest of the changes are still there, they are simply covering it up.

Unable to break out of the restraints he has no choice but to let the bugs do their work. However once they are done they crawl into his arm and he can feel them writhing under the surface of his skin, it isnt painful, but it feels revolting. After a time the bugs quieten down inside his arm, he relaxes back onto the table and falls into proper sleep.

When he wakes up again he realizes that he isnt hungry, he wonders how long hes been there, uncaring he resigns himself to a day of boredom. The door to the room snaps open and the light footfalls of one of the scientist aliens can be heard. Terence's body is swiveled to an upright position as the table pivots on an axis. In front of him is a small thin alien with spindly legs but many stalked eyes and thin arms. In one of the aliens hands there is a small knife, the alien reaches up to Terences chest and cuts a deep long slice into his flesh, Terence unexpecting the injury, screams in pain. As the knife is removed Terence can feel an incredible sensation in his chest and he looks down, the same bugs that healed his arm are stitching his chest together, with what seems to be naturally occuring fibres from their own bodies.

Terence begins to yell at the alien, "WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS TO ME? LET ME GO!!! YOU FILTHY DEBASED VERMIN, LET ME GO!!!!!!!!!!"

Anouther voice speaks from a similar table to the one Terence is lying on, "They dont understand you, they dont understand any civil tongue, trust me, I know a few."

Craning his neck Terence can see a man strapped to the table beside him. His body appears to be unhrmed yet there is a certain cast to his face, a grey pall that suggests ongoing pain.

Terence manages to croak "Whats your name?"

Alpha lies dying in the snow. His broken body is soon found by Unknown cretures...

"Dez, you?"

"Terence Blackwood, how long have you been here?"

"I dont know, but long enough that I cant remember the feel of wind in my hair, or the touch of heat from the sun, they dont let me go mad, they keep me occupied. I resemble thier greatest achievement, a perfect blending of our phisiologies. Im just as much one of them as I am a human."

"What have they done to you?"

"At first I got what they have given you, a weapon, but as time went on they have changed me more and more, now my genetic code is so modified that I can change it at times myself, to give me new weapons etc."

"I dont know how to think about these changes, they make me stronger and better at fighting and yet I'm no longer me"

"I know how you feel, but to be honest, Ive had enough"

"Your escaping?"

"Yeah and now ive got someone to come with me, give me a hand, you up for it?"

"Thought you'd never ask"

Just then the door slaps open and the alien walks in again, a bio organic looking siringe in one hand, walking straight to Terence the alien jabs the needle into the soft fleshy skin beneath his eye. Terence screams in pain as a fire builds behind his eyes, blotting out all other senses, he writhes on the table, his throat raw from his own yelling. When the pain finally stops he hangs limp in the restraints and the table is lowered. Terence is to far into the haze of pain to notice his vision flickering between his usual veiw and a dark view of blue, filled with bright spots of red.

When Terence finally comes to he is seeing the world through eyes that dont quite match his own, his pupils have gone red, and the iris's around them are a bright vivid blue, he is seeing the world as if through a heat scope, heat sources appear red in his vision now. He blinks several times and thinks hard about the way he usually sees and his vision abruptly changes, at first his eyes are open staring as if through a heat scope and then he blinks and his vision is normal again, he makes the change several times to make sure he isnt mad and then begins to look around the room with new eyes. Only when he looks down at his wrists and feet does he notice that the bonds have been cut and Dez is standing at the foot of the table. He grins and sais "Hey buddy, wondered if you were gonna wake up"

"Well im here now, how long have i been out?"

"Who knows in this place, its not like they run on a 24 hour clock"

"Oh well, lets go then"

Alpha is carried down a mine shaft. The Cretures drag him into a small cell and leave hm.

Getting up from the table Terence realizes that he feels quite strong, more so than he should after his ordeal, shaking his head slightly he ficks his vision to Infravision, and looks through the various doors, Behind the one that Dez is walkin to he sees a pair of spots that are darker than everything else, Dez kicks open the doors, and with a motion too fast to see he kills the aliens there. Terence blinks back to normal and realizes that the aliens are cold blooded, no heat source.

Grimly following Dez down the corridors the pair dispatch small groups of patrolling aliens, quietly. Without raising the alarm they slowly work their way through the ship. Finally they stumble into a long corridor filled with circular doors, along the walls.

Dez turns to Terence and helps the flaggin man into one of the escape pods, one of the aliens caught Terence with a blast of some unknown weapon which punched a hole right through his back, the bugs are keeping him alive but he doesnt know for how long.

As Dez jumps into anouther they both slam a lever next to the door, and the doors close, and a small *phut* can be heard as a tube disconnects from the pods. Next thing Terence knows is he is being shot to earth with a halo of fire rippling around him, the pod smashes down into the snow and breaks apart, Terence rolls down the small hill the pod landed on and manages to look up to see Dez lying in front of him and Merlin sprinting towards them both.

"Holy gak where did you come from?"

Terences backpack lands beside him as Merlin drops it,

"Hey thought about keeping this with me in case you needed it when we found ya, looks like it was a good idea"

Terence blacks out again as the bus finish stitching his back together.

Merlin clearly unaware of the strange bugs in Terence's system, rolls him over to look for injuries, seeing the charred back of his shirt and the gaping hole but no scars or signs of injury Merlin is slightly baffled but he builds a small fire with nearby deadwod and shoots a flare into the sky, "Good to have you back man." He gently lays Terences sniper rifle next to the unconcious man and covers Terence with his jacket, both pistols inside it, (the jacket is undamaged as i diddnt have it on me when i was abducted)

Just then Dez crawls over to Merlin and pipes up, "can i share your fire?"

"Merlin looks him over and glances at Terence, "If you can help me keep him alive your welcome to,"

Alpha begins to rise. He relises his allies are hear , using his last ounce of strentgh he slams his Hook against the Cells doors.

Realising his allies will not find him Alpha slams his hooks into a small vent and crawls in. Making his way throught the airducts of the base.

Just to let you know guys, when I'm not GMing, and at certain moments, I will assume the role of Dez, as I have thought about him for a long time before I told Tyranic.

Could I get a situation ?

Hmm, well you are just free to role play until whenever an event happens, but ok.




Alpha soon finds himself outside of the base, and climbs out. The snow sis still falling, and he senses aliens around. He starts to run, trying to make as much distance between him and the base as possible.

Shas I may not be able to post much today. Im relly ill , any other player or you can control my character meen while.

Dez had asked if he could share the fire, not sure why though, maybe he was just trying to be polite to this stranger.

"You can if you help to keep him alive," the man replied.

Dez thought it was a bit of a cheek, seeing as if it wasn't for him, porr Terrence would have never escaped from the ship.

"Sure," he replied, he would have to try and gain the stranger's trust, so they could work together.

Dez walked over to Terrence, making sure the other man wasn't looking, and closed his eyes. He concentrated for a few seconds, and tried to get inside Terrences head, looking at his personality, what he was like, but trying not to invade his secrets. From that moment he knew he could trust Terrence, all thanks to his "gifts".

He did'nt have to keep Terrence alive, the bugs can do that for him, this time. Another time he might not be so lucky.

He walked back over to the man, and asked a question.

"Whats your name?"

The stranger paused for a moment, before answering.

"My name is Merlin. More importantly, whats yours?"

"Dez."

"Well, Dez, hows he doing?"

"He'll be fine."

"Are you sure of that?"

"Yes, in fact," he stopped. "3."

"What?"

"2."

"Hold up."

"1."

He heard Terrence starting to stir.

"0."

He heard Terrence coughing before he heard him say,

"What happened?"

K no problem, hope you get better m8.

drearily Terence opens his eyes, and automatically he reches for his pistol, only when its in his hand and pointing at Merlins head (who shifted over to look at him) does Terence realize where he is and what happened. Groggily he sits up and moves closer to the fire, "gak its cold"

"How long have i been out?"

Alpha reviews all that has passed.
"Must find them , must..."
Alpha stops speaking relising it is pointless. He draws his pistol and Fires madly into the air
"Come on you SCUM come get some!"

Merlin stands in the middle of the base, shotgun in his left hand, M4 in his right. He mows down alien after alien. Some of the alien shapeshifters partially shift back to their true form to reveal weapons. A seemingly human creature charges at Merlin. Merlin shoots at it with his M4 but it shrugs off the shots. The beast leaps up and changes his arms from their human form into huge slimy tentacles glowing with energy. It lands on top of Merlin and encloses it in the tentacles. An energy field forms around Merlin sprouting from the tentacles and the formed space fills with slimy liquid. Merlin can feel himself float and the room around him get blurry. then all goes black...

That's because we are. Me and Alpha are in some human survivor camp where the humans have been infected by aliens or are cloaked aliens. You are in a different base.

Picking up his gear Terence and Dez move into the snow, Terence begins to realize that he isnt hungry and despite the snow isnt cold. Turning to Dez he asks "are you cold?"

Dez turns to him and sais "Y'know ive noticed that as well, and your not hungry either are you"

"nope"

"Heck must be the aliens, ah well, im not complaining"
