The description is still wrong. If it has two of each sprue, then it cannot come with 16 braces, as there are only 6 on the sprue.
Either way, it's not hard to figure out. A lot of these kits just have two of the available sprues (like the other pipes), and this appears to be the same.

Thought this video posted by Warhammer TV was appropriate here...

That is an awesome piece Duncan did, the thought of transporting it and painting it like that hurts my brain though. I would have left that in at least 3 sub assemblies. Looks like it would work great in a game of Necromunda.

The plasma conduit kit does give you more pipes, plus they're a different kind of plastic. The promethium pipes come from the Wall of Martyrs bunkers era, where things came in that weird-colour plastic not on the sprue. The pipes are on sprues, but they're the same odd plastic. They don't seem locally produced, which is odd for GW.
Anyway, I simply adore the fact that the new pipes can act as columns/pillars. This bit is easily one of the three most useful parts in the Sector Mechanicus range, so having more things like it (better than it, actually) is fantastic.

Wow. They got onto that real fast.

Antipodean Pre-orders are up, the Battleforces, Chapter Approved, a massive bundle of terrain, several books, Terminus Ultra and a Terminus Ultra upgrade sprue.
few new details in the Chapter Approved blurb.
Rules for a range of terrain, including Deathworld Forests (Eldritch Ruins, Grapple Weed, Shardwrack Spine, and Barbed Venomgorse) and Sector Mechanicus (Haemotrope Reactor, Thermic Plasma Regulators, and Thermic Plasma Conduits);
Datasheets for the following 11 fortifications: Aegis Defence Line, Imperial Bastion, Imperial Defence Line, Imperial Bunker, Vengeance Weapon Battery, Plasma Obliterator, Firestorm Redoubt, Macro-cannon Aquila Strongpoint, Vortex Missile Aquila Strongpoint, Void Shield Generator, Skyshield Landing Pad. (I guessed that right)
Battlezone: Industrial Worlds rules for adding height advantage using sector mechanicus terrain and for tapping in to plasma structures to boost weapon potential.
There are 5 example datasheets covering Ultramarines, Space Wolves, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, and Chaos Space Marines tanks, and a blank datasheet for you to create your own,
Planetstrike & Stronghold Terrain bundle includes:
Aegis Defence Line
Imperial Bastion
Wall of Martyrs Imperial Bunker
Hive Shield including 2 void Shields and 2 reactors and pipes
Skyshield Landing pad
NZ$682 ($3 cheaper than buying them all seperate) (£350, UK will probably be cheaper though as similar bundles are £220 in UK)

The platforms on the plasma regulators are set at roughly 3 inches, or the same height as the older imperial sector stuff
Its a bit odd, i was expecting it to be set at 2.5 inches like some of the sector mechanicus pieces

Just in case anyone was wondering, the old Necromunda bulkhead sections are the right height to use with the plasma regulator platforms. You need to remove the top clip part and file it flat. Also, pre-plan where you want to put the bulkhead or you may find yourself unable to attach clips, shields, or grubbins because you've covered up holes you wind up needing to use.

They are about a 1/4" taller than the platforms so they could work as walls attached to the outside of the platform but won't fit underneath.
