Well, I was waiting very long for an order from Fantasywelt made at the end of 2020.
The order consisted of green stuff, cryptek, and 10 warriors.
The delay came from the green stuff which was not available!
So I've I cancelled the green stuff and the remaining two items arrived a few days ago.

I ordered one of the Broken Realms boxed sets and a start collecting boxed set (Kraeth's Shadowpact and Anvilgard).

The Kraeth's Shadowpact is apparently stuck indefinitely in a warehouse in Hamburg. I'm pretty surprised that this far along from my order (6 and a half months!) there's been no movement and I suspect my box is lost or stolen at this stage. I'll probably also have to ask for a refund but I'm pretty unhappy because the Shadowpact boxed set is out of production now. Lesson learned for me: only order stuff that's in stock in a European webstore if it's coming from the UK.

Seems half the FLGS shipment of Crimson Court (WHU vampire team) got permanently lost, apart from that shipping seems smooth lately, we had Dominion on launch day.

I've made two preorders for non-GW UK miniatures from German retailers lately (North Star via MiniaturicuM and Great Escape Games via Stronghold-Terrain) and stock arrived in a reasonable timeframe both times.

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Going the other way around (sending stuff to EU) I feel like I have slipped into a bureaucratic hell.

Jesus fething wept, if the referendum Remain campaign had just sent everyone around a sample of the paperwork you would need to fill in to send one box of stuff - then printed in triplicate - the UK would still be in the EU now with a 98% vote win majority.

What an absolute, unmitigated load of complete BS. A friend of mine works in a company that ships to the EU a lot, I can now understand what he meant when he said he wanted to kill himself (and I have only sent a couple of things!)

Oh yes. Something else I wonder, when trade figures are talked about and comments made about how it's really going alright and trade hasn't fallen that much since Brexit...

I work in IT, and my employers have a number of employees over in the Republic Of Ireland that I support. It used to be that I could just post them any kit they needed. Now, we have to fill in (as you correctly say) horrendous export documentation classifying what we're sending out in terms of customs tariff codes, provide country of origin information and so on. In other words, it counts as trade. Me sending a replacement laptop charger to a colleague in another country counts as international trade. It never used to. How much of this is going on, quietly buoying up the trade figures?

No it wouldn't. People were told. Repeatedly. With examples. Diagrams.

But a) if they don't personally have to send they don't give jack b) doesn't fit with narrative. Like guys who says EU would get just as hurt by loss of trade and they need UK badly while ignoring that trade with EU was over 40% of UK trade and UK trade is mid single digits for EU...And EU countries have each 26 nearby countries to find alternative markets close to them while UK has...not quite as many. But that doesn't fit the narrative so it got ignored.

People WERE told what will happen. Nothing has been surprise if facts were of interest. So either they knew facts and would have voted same way anyway or they weren't interested in facts in the first place so samples would have been ignored.

The whole EU shipping thing is funny because people pretend it’s not like we were shipping with the same documentation to other countries and territories that are actually in the UK(let alone regularly sending items to non-EU countries) with the whole thing being well documented. Then given four years to prepare for a potential worst case scenario(literally the same rules as trading with the rest of the world and UK dependencies not within the EU). Then customs on the EU side also couldn’t prepare for something that they were given four years notice for and got hugely overwhelmed(and escaped any blame at all). GW was probably well prepared for brexit as they shipped to multiple non-EU countries anyway.

Customs in the EU got prepared, it's not their fault the UK took so long to actually negotiate the deal it's companies didn't have time to learn the regulations that did come into effect and it ended up with a pile of wrongly-filled forms.

I made an order on Sunday from the GW site, all Direct ("available to order") material. Arrived this morning, just in 5 days.

Read comment that says GW is sending stuff from Lyon(France) now to EU. Not sure if true but if true would explain how the GW solved issues. EU warehouse in Lyon, from there inside EU deliveries have no issues.

As a final update, it's been over 10 months now, no further communication from Fantasywelt, I assume my package was just lost, I'll be asking for a refund.

Disappointed by the whole thing.
