If they can get to the walker stretch goal I'm definitely in, moreso if it's an add-on as well.
For rampart 2 I got one set of kazumi ruins and three tanks, so my focus is more on getting quality plastic vehicles with some nice terrain rather than vice versa.

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy. |

I wish the floors weren't so future city themed. Kazumi temple and Eternal Cathedral need slabs.

That lite pledge is a great idea. If the stretch goals are anything like they were in the past, you're still going to get a fair amount of plastic when all is said and done.
It's a nice way to sample a different flavor of terrain too.

How...How do I even purchase anything of theirs? I'm so lost by their backing/purchase system. Is there a kickstarter that hasn't launched yet or something? I can find some of the stuff online already, but like if I want that tank, or these newest releases...where do I go?

There's a new Ramparts project due to launch tomorrow and the tank should be available via that, and as it's an existing item there should be the option to get it very soon after the KS ends (last time existing stuff shipped within a month or so)
(until recently you could get it via a late pledge on gamefound from the last Ramparts project but that now appears to be locked https://gamefound.com/projects/archon-studio/rampart---stylish-and-modular-terrain presuabably as this new ks is just about to launch)
archon also has a webstore where you can get some of their stuff (it's also now available at a vareity of other online stores) https://archon-studio.com/shop/21-dungeonslasers?p=2 but the tank isn't on there yet, and the KS will be better value for the terrain

Anyone from the UK planning to put in a pledge for the rapid delivery stuff? If so, I'd like to get hold of two sets of Cathedral stairs so PM me if you'd be willing to help with that. As it stands, there isn't enough here to make me want to jump in with a pledge of my own.

No retail release yet it’s only available in the KS as the Gamefound store is locked for new purchases
€93,000 Day 1 €103k so far, slow start by comparison to D&L 2 (Day 1 $235k) and D&L 3 (Day 1 €350k) better than Rampart 2s $55k though. I think this might struggle to reach the €800k target for the Walker. D&L 2 got €890k but started at twice the day 1 funding. Stretch goal value might be key this time.

Yea selling the same 40k buildings for the third time doesn't have quite the same draw as a brand new D&D town with dozens of NPCs.

I just do not see this KS doing anywhere near as well as the D&L, not with the stretchgoals we are seeing.
No doors. Only one floor aesthetic. No new, sprawling miniatures line. Increased prices.
For their sake, at least they are doing better than Rampart 2… although that success may reinforce the idea that they did not actually need those things I wished they had.
I do hope Archon at least sees increased sales of Kazumi sets so that they feel it is profitable to revisit that design line.

Ya considering how sometimes they seem to be happy to cut molds on a whim on random gak like 3 variant sprues just for extra doors, and preview sprues that just get sent to 20 youtubers and never make money, it's weird how reluctant they are to expand any single idea beyond the bare minimum.

For those considering Kazumi for the first time: it's functionally the best theme cause it's all low long walls instead of a mix of low long and tall short, it's the most thematically unique, and Wargames Atlantic is putting out 28mm plastic multipart Aztecs and Conquistadors this month But for some reason it's gonna have electric bulbs on the bottom of its floors.

If the low walls are as low as cathedral then it's not that functional in 40k unless they are solid walls with zero holes to see through. Cathedral allows you to make LOS blocking ruins thanks to the tall pieces.

Cathedral allows you to make LOS blocking ruins thanks to the tall pieces. Fairly solid. In the previous campaign it also had a "solidify my pledge" option that traded all ruined sections for full sections. OH is there a thing in 40k that walls count as solid if at least 5" tall, is that what you mean? Kazumi still works here, you get the same total amount and 2 stacked high is exactly the same dimensions as two Cathedral side by side. (although, why are you using the Aztec theme in 40k)

Because of what I said above. Aliens!
I'm in at the double level, but probably will drop it for the equivalent terrain, I have my IG already covered so not very interested in extra boots, but I'll take all the fantasy terrain I can get.

The Kazumi design works for ancient fantasy, Stargate-ish Sci Fi, pulp adventure, or even modern if you pretend it’s a theme park or eccentric’s drug mansion. I hope we get the option to swap out ruins for whole walls this time.

i'd forgotten about that, but since i've picked up another ruin set between ks (needed some more of the snakemen and i had to get more terrain to get them) solidifying this set would be ideal if it's offered
(although wasn't only if you were getting 3+ sets?)
i guess if the stretch goal box is lacklustre i might even skip the terrain totally and just go for the minis pledge but hopefully it will be hve enough fun bits to make it worth having

For those with the 49$ pledge from prior KS. How much coverage it gives for a skirmish game like KT/Warcry or Deadzone? I supported a basic pledge before the annoying virus but it's been waiting in another country since 2020, and I don't know if the equivalent to 2 lite pledges will be enough or buy a 3rd.

1 $49 pledge (€59 in Rampart 3) is more than sufficient for a KT, Warcry or Deadzone set up with a little bit of verticality if you want to build up a bit then get 2 sets.
While I’m here current unlocked SG (until the image update at least) - still along way to go to justify the €35 price tag but they’ve shortened up the SG gaps. The visitor won the vote but won’t be revealed until the end. I hope the car is “full sized” and they don’t scale it down as has happened with some previous pieces.
Current funding
Trending towards a €370k finish right now but will probably get to around €500k which is still considerably more than KS 2.
