Yeah, that was my main problem with the otherwise MINT Fiend (and Timeless Toni Storm for instance). Sometimes (and by that I mean 89% of the time) it's okay for a wrestler to be a wrestler first, other things (dentist, monk, the devil, etc) second.

I hate to say it, because I like both Wrestlers and the overall gimmick…but? Teaming Bray with Bliss just didn’t really work. Not quite as bad as the Wyatt vs Orton with “scary” projections on the mat, no. That remains a staggering low point. And perhaps if the worst hadn’t happened to Bray it would’ve worked out. But it didn’t feel like it was going anywhere.

It feels like someone had a cool idea at some point, only for the creatives to do what they do, and throttled that in its crib and did their own half arsed, uninteresting version. Like pretty much everytime a hot property came up from NXT, only to be watered down and neutered for their time on the main roster.

Yes. I have no idea why they keep trying to push Alexa Bliss with a creepyscary thing for years now. It's been toned down quite a bit since the latest return, but it's still there, and it's just annoying. Maybe Mrs.Bliss really wanted to go with a creepy character. The goddess was an amazing character. She was brilliant. But when the THUNDERDOME ERA came around, and they ran out of ideas for the Fiend and wanted stuff that 'goes viral' we ended up with Big Box Bliss, Fireball Bliss, Straddling-Orton-Bliss, very weird girlygirl Bliss, the bloody puppet and Aspirin-in-mouth Bliss. Shame. She still can be good, I think, but I guess her priorities also shifted, and more power to her.


Yeah, it's funny how WWE's most popular thing right now is happening in AAA, featuring Chad Gable and Ludwig Kaiser. Lovely though.
