I don't think it necessarily corresponds to a specific part of the avatars body. It would make sense if it did, if it's head popped off or something, but I don't think thats the case. As far as I can tell neither the Scindron or Crab bot do either.

Well, you see, when an Avatar and an Anathematic have feelings for one another....
or is that where Charontids come from?

Well that looks cool enough to actually get me to commit to buying Infinity stuff.
Fingers crossed it won't end up being a pinning nightmare with flashbacks to building old metal Reaper dragons.

I haven't pinned an infinity model in years. The change to 3d sculpt allow them to put MASSIVE square-slots in place for parts to plug in precisely.

Blackjack isn't as big as claimed, in my opinion. It's just bulky.

I'd like to see the Blackjack next to a Gecko or an Azra'il or Al Fasid. The scale of it looks right, compared to the Marauder next to it.
The Pneumarch looks a large one too. That Father-Knight next to it is a big mini.
The Muyib resculpts should preview this week. I already have enough, but all these recent Bahram releases make me suspect that something is up. Maybe new units for Bahram soon?

Rumor is that Psychotic Storm transports his Seraph on a purple velvet pillow with gold tassles. It's filled with buckwheat hulls, and provides perfect support and protection.

Standard issue battlefoam large bag I am afraid, the old type too with the vertical foam.
I will look to get that Azrail and Gecko next to blackjack pic, any other models?

Let me be more clear then:
The Blackjack looks small for the price point they're charging. It's not as big of a model as they were hyping it up to be. It just looks more and more like it is the bulk that drives the price up and that is concerning to me. The Devil Dog is the same price point but taller and includes a second model.
Additionally, it next to a Gecko wouldn't prove jack. The Gecko isn't that big of a model.
The Pneumarch looks a large one too. That Father-Knight next to it is a big mini.
The Muyib resculpts should preview this week. I already have enough, but all these recent Bahram releases make me suspect that something is up. Maybe new units for Bahram soon?
I wouldn't read a whole lot into it. Most likely it's just that CB has been redoing Sectorial starter sets and a few select units that were done with Human Sphere N2.
We've seen Bakunin, Bahram, and Caledonia.
I fully expect to see a JSA and Military Orders revamped starter set and range refresh sooner rather than later.
Also while SAA saw a revamped starter set, a lot of stuff that really needed love both in SAA and NCA just got left alone. Automatically Appended Next Post:
This is an awful "comparison" photo. Why would you even post this?

Because they were arranged as that on my self and had the phone at hand, didn't know I had to pass your unmentioned up to this point minimum standards to post a picture.
It had basic infantry, taskmasters and the tiny marker models I think it was a good mix of models.

The point of a comparison shot is to do just that:

Especially given the MO box is now useless, given that Magisters have to be taken in a link with Hostiallers or Santiagos.

Nah, the MO box is extremely important - the only source for TOMSR sergeants...

JSA, oh dear, those Keisotsu... The sooner they are retired, the better.
We have a Montesa proxy Hospitaller box coming Soon™. It could be the start of a MO refresh. I'm interested in the Hospitallers now because (1) it looks as if they will be in the Svalarheim sectorial, and (2) as Montesa proxies.

Actually, I am too, but I've had enough problems with recent Infinity and Malifaux models that I'm moving to magnetised transport.

There is a boardgamegeek page for it https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/230889/aristeia but it has very little of use ATM.
CB has some discussion of the game here https://www.aristeiathegame.com/blog/, but it is no substitute for a proper game review.
The gamepiece bases ought to be hexagonal, not circular.
I wonder how many more of these Aristeia! units will show up as mercs in Infinity?
