ah, makes sense. Need some Attack Bikes and trying to decide if getting the voucher for $10 off is better than adding items to order to reach $240 for miniature. was thinking of Necron codex and elite edition anyway. There is a chance that thy both occur on same day (Oct 28th is 2 months, last day of promo is also Oct 28th but I have a sneaky suspicion that it will not overlap and Oct 28th was chosen as last day for that reason)

That's convenient timing, was going to be buying one of the HH POD books this Saturday anyway, so that's halved the price.

Interesting given some of the suggestions here, this week there's a show about Angels of Death.
Half an hour of people talking about the show and interviewing some of the creative behind it.
Given its called the inaugural episode, presumably it'll be an ongoing feature

Wonder if they'll talk about why we're not getting new episodes of it and why it seems to have halted.
It was the only part of the sub I looked forward to each week.

They've run thru all of the animation they have?
It's amazing how little animation you need when every 5th episode is one talking about the previous episodes.

Interestingly this is available for free and is not part of the subscription. There is also a promo for episodes 4-6 of Hammer and Bolter.

They talk about a mid season break in it, so with Hammer and Bolter coming back next week maybe there's 3 weeks of that before we get episodes 6-10.

Yeah. I just watched the talk show and heard them use the phrase 'mid season break'.
I guess that means a few weeks/months of no Angels of Death, but at least it is coming back eventually. Hope they'll do something to make the sub worth while in the meantime.

Interestingly enough you don't have to be a subscriber to enter, it's in the terms and conditions presumably to meet legal requirements in various locations - purchase to enter is illegal in some jurisdictions and residents of Canada or Belgium must correctly answer a skill-testing question in order to win a prize, in accordance with Canadian and Belgian laws.
Entry Route 2: Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE)
4.1.3. email your request to enter to GW at competitions@gwplc.com, with the subject line ‘Warhammer+ Competition’ and including your full name and location (state/region and country) in the main body of your email. No purchase is necessary for this AMOE.
and yep voucher code arrived earlier now to wait on either the Boltboyz or Dol Guldur terrain release.

Gotta ask support if WH+ is allowed for countries which don't have it available yet, I always try raffles and when I have luck, I have luck, from wines in baskets to laundry machines. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, so you can ask in an e-mail? well, better to ask, but even being on a country without WH+ I'm still allowed to get a miniature and access to the Vault.

It'll be a small studio so yeah, having two projects alternate isn't a new thing. While the Mandolorean was on, Bad Batch was being worked on. While Bad Batch was on, Book of Boba Fett was being worked on.

lol what?
Playing =/= "running projects"
Mandalorian ran week after week.
H&B went three eps then stopped
AOD went five eps then stopped
Now H&B #4
Joke.
They even put the sizzle reel 4-6 of H&B behind the paywall to pretend they've got more content than they do....

Deep blacks? Illegal
Colours? Like two on screen maximum...
Oh but look someone's gone to the effort of putting spamming plenty of unrealistic lens bloom, because....reasons

It's an art style. It's Richard Boylan's art style, the guy who did the animation of Helsreach. You are allowed to not like it but pretending it's some kind of low quality animation just because it doesn't use colours everywhere is just sad.

It's an amateur sin city ripoff applied with no good reason. It just comes off as lame. Film noir doesn't suit 40k. Childish but not in a good childish way.

Style B looks like a lame sin city film noir with a dash of JJ abrams stupiditiy.

I mean, even if Mandalorian ran week to week and the other star wars shows didn't, it's not like Disney+ isn't still doing a weekly release.
Wandavision
Falcon and Winter Soldier
What if
All those MCU shows are released weekly and then a new show is released after that one ends. It's super common for streaming services to do that.
Hbo Max/DC Universe does
Amazon switched to it
I mean, it's basically what tv shows have done forever.
