The Mandalorian is the best thing to happen to the Star Wars universe since The Empire Strikes Back. Change my mind.

I keep seeing Mandalorian minis pop up in all of my feeds, my will to resist grows weaker with every one that I see.
Great job and I love the color scheme. I don't see the trash can being much of an opponent, though . . .

Since Revenge of the Sith, at least. Though I'd say that only applies to Seasons 1 and 2. 3 has been...not good.

Either way, that's some solid screaming-in-your-face Yellow and I'm all for it.

" I'll just have a quick look in here, see what updates there are- Good grief it's a scary baby monster"

It's an extremely cool scary baby monster, top marks for the tentacular spectacular. The blood effect is very realistic.

One and a half feet in the hobby

Thank you very much, everybody! Always good to hear you guys like what's happening here.

Been busy, but working on things as I can. Minis built for this month's challenge, and got a teensy bit of paint on Sabine and random Mando #2.

Thanks for looking!

Should probably put this here, too. My current choice for entry in DakkaChallenge100.

Confrontation's Titan Dragon. Fits the Paradigm theme, I feel, as THE dragon on Aarklash.

Going to be quite the wingspan.

That's a big ole dragon. I haven't heard of Confrontation in a looooong time...they went out of business right? Used to love their werewolf minis. Good luck painting him up for the contest!

That's a really gorgeous yellow on the Mandalorian too. Reckon he has the upper hand over that trash can

I love that sculpt, like top three dragon designs for me. I forgot how huge it is! Good luck!

Thank you for the comments!

Yeah, tzurk. Rackham did great things. I am a huge fan of the Wolfen, as well.

A little progress. Time is slipping away, but her head is done and ready for attachment.

Hoping to be able to get a bit more done before the weekend is over. Thanks for looking!

That dragon wing is massive! Can’t wait to see it painted. Nice progress on the head on a stick (I’m assuming Sabine). She has a good complexion and nice lustre to her hair

Thanks, gobert! Not Sabine, but Aya from Kingdom Death.

Finished up my entry for the monthly challenge: Mistakes Were Made. Before The Wall/Beyond The Wall. Two white-box models from Kingdom Death, depicting their character Aya at various stages of her adventure. I don't think it is going well. Mistakes were most surely made.

Overall I am happy with how they have turned out. It is always interesting to work in the Sin City style with KD. I left off the damaged chestplate from Beyond the Wall. It has no clear attachment point, it just sort of floats between the chest and the arm,and I figured it would just be in the way and clutter things.

Also finished a second Mando.

Last but not least, the dragon for the Dakka100 has been washed up and should be prepped and primed soon.

Sabine also in progress.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks, Syro_!

Assembly has happened. This is how it will be broken up for priming and base coating.

Cracking work on the Aya’s. The sin city style one is great, the smoothness on her skin is nuts. Was that just dry brushing?
This dragon is already looking amazing

Aya is another fine entry for the painting challenge, I particularly like the black and white one. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the dragon

Nice work on Aya!
The B&W one is particularly snazzy.

Thank you, guys! Glad the grey look is still working.

No drybrushing on b/w Aya except for the wall, gobert. The rest is washed, layered, etc.

Sabine is done. Happy with how she turned out. I was a little skeptical about replicating her look in miniature. In the end, approximation and amalgamation worked out. I went for a combination of elements from the character's various looks over the life of the show. Particularly happy with the stylized purrgil on her shoulder (an element I didn't know existed until I found the costume style guide). A (very) small detail I am glad to have been able to include.

A look at the darksaber.

And the purrgil.

Dragon gets primed, hopefully, tomorrow. Thanks for looking!

So much awesomeness!

But the Aya and the "Beyond the Wall" take the cake for me! Stellar work.
The "Sin City" style works wonders, you pulled the effect really well.

I too have the latter model gathering dust in my cabinet, where it has been waiting for inspiration.
This definitely gives me a huge boost!

I had meant to high five you on the two Ayas as well, great work there. I'm surprised you didn't go with OSL on the lantern in the grayscale version? But you're forgiven as all that layering is super nice and the blood + lantern as spot colors are solid as is.

Also continuing to marvel at how big that dragon is. Sending luck!

(Mandos are rocking along, way to include Sabine's many colors.)

Huh, it's been a long time since I last saw those dragons around (and even then, Confro always worked better with smaller forces). Eager to see where you'll take it.

Much appreciated, everyone! Thank you!

Boss Salvage, I don't do a lot of OSL. Most of the time I consider myself too heavy-handed.

Work has begun in earnest on the dragon. So far, so good.
