Speaking of, I wonder if Mierce is dead, they were completly reliant on Kickstarters to stay afloat even before the pandemic, and were taking around 6 years to deliver things. If they were I don't know if I would be capable of being upset.

They're not. Mierce is still working it's way though KS stuff but they haven't done one, outside of a merch Kickstarter, in quite some time (maybe 2 years). They've transitioned on doing special deals around resculpts of old figures and new ones a few times a year but all that delivers with in a few weeks of the estimated timeframe.

And they're already on the way to one million.

Everytime someone complains about GW's FOMO practices, I will have a thought about CMON's kickstarters.

"But look at how much value ! The amount of free exclusive characters you get ! You won't get that much a bargain at retail, if at all !"

I'm telling you, CMON has a "back" button for every of their Kickstarters that they keep pressing and it triggers thousand of faithful CMON fanboyz who never fail to rush as soon as the project is online.

Why bother ? It's like trying to fight microtransactions in mobile games. Like trying to push back the sea waves with your bare hands. Completely and utterly useless. The spirale never ends.

Yup, I'm depressed tonight.

Them leading with Feral of all characters on their stretch goals leads me to think they're going to go pretty deep in the roster. Come on Glob Herman!

Of course they are. The initial steps weren't even what they intended to achieve at the end of the campaign. The true goal is certainly 2 or 3 millions or something.

They just unveiled Legion, tells you how far they can find the next KS exclusive character out of their hat. And they're certainly keeping some of the most expected mutants for later as well.

For UK ASOIAF players, the Greyjoy starter should be hitting stores next week. The two additional Greyjoy units and hero box are not on the release list unfortunately so hopefully they are coming the following week.

Welp, time to move to the UK.

That is great news. I'm excited for them to show up here in the US (supposedly next month).

Jeez, it's like full on 90's X-Force up in this kickstarter, with a dash of late 80s Art Adams X-books! While I dig the nostalgia factor I think some of these characters' modern costumes are a bit cooler.

With Longshot and Arcade showing up, I'm hopeful for Shatterstar and Mojo making appearances.

Maybe since Callisto and mohawk Storm are in, we'll see the Marauders?

I'm betting Cable is going to be locked into an expansion. Hopefully with a Strife to fight. Maybe a Sentinel or two? Perhaps even Nimrod?

Or maybe we'll see something out of left field like an Age of Apocalypse expansion!

Nimrod showing up will see me finally fail that Willpower save on this one.

And there's got to be a ruleset where we can use all of these miniatures and the Marvel United ones in a 'proper' skirmish game too, right?

Terrain might be the only issue there, with the odd scale, but that's not too big of...an obstacle?

That is amusingly not the worst image of him. The X-Tinction Age da had three artists, including Rob Liefeld, who each had different ideas about Hodge’s appearance.

Yeah, he has better artwork certainly. Other than Apocalypse, I can't think of a more iconic X-Factor specific villain. Hodge actually founded the team and convinced the original X-Men to pose as mutant hunters, increasing anti-mutant sentiments (Great psychic work there Jean!). He amputated Warren's wings, killed his fiance, killed Warlock to absorb his essence and become a techno-organic monstrosity, brainwashed Rahne, Havoc, Rictor and other mutants on Genosha with lasting repercussions. Hodge was pretty legit for a random human with no powers.

Really pleased and surprised with the X-Force expansion being a free stretch goal rather than a paid add on! It's like the reverse of the usual "fake stretch goal"!

Only classic era "must have's" for me left: Deadpool, Kitty Pryde, and Nightcrawler!

Dang, they're going to end up getting me with that X-Force box.

They're pushing some hardcore nostalgia on me with that one.
I can remember seeing X-Force #1 on a school bus coming back from a field trip.
It was pretty impressive to an edgy teen at the time, especially to one who was much less discerning about comic art at that time.

I can only imagine what else they've got in store. Gotta go Age of Apocalypse I think.

Nope, instead of more nostalgia they chose a Phoenix Five expansion box i.e. more duplicate models of already existing characters. Its a new campaign game mode and those characters now present villains, but I wanted more other obscure x-characters rather than more "dupes". This expansion definitely polarizing the comment section of the KS ...

Really disappointed with the quality control for the cards in my Zombicide 2nd edition pledge. Have attached an example below which shows how off centre the decks have been cut, in this instance the left hand deck is the easy spawn cards and the right hand deck are the hard spawn cards so it’s obvious how hard the encounter will be before you pull a card. All the card decks I have checked so far have been cut this poorly.

Unfortunately not deliberate.

The text on the Toxic Abomination card is meant to be centred but runs right up to the left card edge.
