Mostly finished painting my last Striking Scorpion, now into base painting the Exarch.

Made an inventory of all my paints, not sure why I have five pots of Celestra Grey, but here we are.

Also spent some time building Stargrave troopers, using arms from the scavenger sets.

Flocked the box I have been working on for a diorama/picture box for showcasing minis. Did a little more painting on my blood bowl orcs too.

A bit more assembly on a 30k/40k Knight Lancer.

At long last, back to the painting desk for my bolt action us army, only giving base coats as these will get dipped when I've base coated enough of them to my liking

Building more Lumineth. This week 10x spear elves.

Clipping obscene amounts of Tomb Kings stuff from the sprue so I can start the arduous assembly process. Also sorting parts for assembly as I'm using the Chariot crewmen as Tomb Guard so as to save some bucks. To pull it off with the sprues I currently have it will mean several left-handed Tomb Guard. It's either that or get 8 more Tomb Kings add-on sprues. Or simply 10 of those right-handed sword arms, which I'm sure will be cost prohibitive.

Or I can go nuts and make the entire unit left-handed. Either way I don't have enough parts to make them holding their weapons the same.

Made myself do more work on my Striking Scorpion Exarch. Quite close to finishing him, just got to paint more highlights and his face.

Continuation of the us soldiers I started yesterday. Sniper team, officer an aid, bazooka team.

Just assembling some flamer models for my guard.

As I keep waiting for work, I'll tackle five more US soldiers for bolt action.

I'm putting together a budget for all the armies I want to play across all game systems.

I'm trying to figure out what games I really want to play, how much they are going to cost, build, paint, etc.

This way I can prioritize my spending and not waste time and money on models I'm not going to play with and armies that are cost prohibitive to start.

I want to do the same before I start Marvel: Crisis Protocol, but it's more about the fact that I want to build an Ultraverse themed team and need to purchase models that can be converted into Ultraverse characters. I also need to practice my greenstuff skills before I buy any models.

Assassins and psykers

Last night, I practically finished my Striking Scorpion exarch. Just got to base them (and maybe do the gems, I hate gems, which is ironic as my faction has so many of them. I don’t understand how some Eldar players can obsessively paint all the bumpy bits as gems).

....yeah its just dungeon terrain. I was going through some stuff to organize it and found I have a pile of blisters just taking up space. Figured I'd start just getting them out of the way before I move on to other things.

Just finished building a 10x unit of AoS Lumineth Wardens (Spear elves).

10 more to go & my unbuilt Lumineth backlog is cleared.

Began assembling my Scouts which I'm enjoying, finished two. It's cool that I can remake my old scout with heavy bolter that I had as a kid almost one-to-one. He was one of my favourite minis to paint, him and my Apothecary. Ahh, nostalgia, I wish I knew where those old minis are

Finished assembling my scouts and primed 'em. My cousin said they were hard to assemble, but I had not trouble, compared to the Krieg Kill Teamers and other kits they were a breeze. Had a little confusion about one which was a alternative build with two different torso fronts. But no problem.
I also began basing my test Striking Scorpion, might use him in a High Elf Fleet team because I'm so happy with how he turned out.

Building another x10 Lumineth Wardens (spear elves)....

That will clear my backlog of unbuilt Lumineth units.

Then it's onto some misc hobby bitz:
*Kitbash a Multi-Melta for a SM
*Paint a bit more of a dragons hoard I've been picking away at
*Paint a few more details on a SM Reiver squad - grenades, straps, etc
*make a final decision on what color to paint the posts on my KT barbed wire sections - and then paint them!

I finished my budget. It looks like Im going to have to rein in my "stuff to buy" by a decent amount.

Once I factored in buying furniture and miscellaneous stuff I need to survive (like food). I had gone over my budget by a weeee bit (okay, a lot).

There's gonna be a whole lot less of FW resin in my future. I'm going to have to limit my purchases to include AT, Knights (with AdMech allies), and Custodes.

I'm budgeting 65 bucks for the new codex, and 200 for whatever new Knight they release (if any).

Began batch painting my scouts and base painting my Striking Scorpion's base.

Yeah, life ain't cheap really. I've primed the remainder of my US infantry for Bolt action. Still some work to do on these, plus the arty and véhicules. Then my space marines to green stuff a bit and paint. Then base my necrons at Long last. And finally, my brother's minis as he's not a fan of painting. That should last me for years to come without dropping a penny on new stuff, hopefully
