Tomorrow at my FLGS an age of sigmar escalation league is starting. I am very excited to get involved. I am a little concerned about bringing my sylvaneth without any trees, but I am just hoping to meet some cool peeps and see what kind of group it is. I am hoping to get a little painting in this afternoon on one of my treelords. I am thinking of going darker then I did on my first dryad. I hadn't planned on it, but i keep referring to him as Oakley.

I should have some phone pics of progress later today and even more pics tomorrow.

More WIP of Oakley. The first round of the escalation league was a ton of fun. Quite a few people didn't show up but I still managed to play a couple games while there. Both were against the new Kharadron Overlords. I won them both. Overall the guys were a blast to play with. I am hoping to have this treelord finished and some more of the dryads painted before the next get together.

Thanks guys. I managed to finish him up today. Pics will be here soon. I had a lot of fun with this model. It was certainly one of those models that every time I left and came back I'd notice something that I had missed. A random leaf, a power swirl, another spirit. There is so much detail on that model. It really is great.

In other news my wife requested a game for mothers day, which meant I HAD to visit a game store. I may have walked away with some new duardin. The Arkanaut Company.

Here he is. Thoughts?

I think I am going to put some arkanauts together next, but after that I think I am going to hit the Dryads with some paint. I have a pair of branch wyches that need some color. I have three weeks until the next escalation game and I think I am going to attempt to have a fully painted Sylvaneth group. It is a bit lofty of a goal but manageable if I find an easy method to paint the dryads. I think I'll have 30 in my next match.

That is something that I can set up for you Solar. I also have a lovely squad of Arkanauts put together now. I need to sand their bases and prime them. Something for me to do this weekend.

I wanted a treeperson army using the tree women from ultraforge and that other company, but after the KS debacle forget it. Love the look of the painted models so far.

Thanks guys. I am glad you like them. It may be hard to tell but there are three dryads that are now painted in that mess. Each one is painted different, but I think the Ancient Spirit of Durthu may be the gray scale version like the dryad. I will try to get a up close picture to get more feedback from you guys.

Could just go with Drumf. That was supposedly Trumps family name before they Americanized it, but it turned out to be false, but still spread wide enough where people would recognize it.
