ok i know the tau employ lots of AUX units, IG, kroot, vespid, & human miners.

but i was woundering as to what the fluff behind the nicassar dhow are.. if i rememebr right they are potant psykers, but must remain in a stasis or a state of sleep.  the tau employ them in space warfare, and they controll the ships in thier dreams.... that thought is just burried in the back of my head and i want to know who they are....

Zoats, if my memory serves me right, were the original warriors from the nids.

You'd have genestealer cults infiltrating a planet to prepare for the coming of the Nids main forces (Zoats, etc.).

Going back a bit for Zoats.

i have some real old WD with a description of the zoats - they are four legged, cloven beasts with a humanoid torso and two arms, one of which may be equipped with a nid gun; they can charge at high speed and were used as initial recce' of a planet once the genestealers had started working thier magic.

they would then contact the hive mind and lay the mycetic smackdown on said unfortunate planet.
