So yeah, I've been out of the game for a while, where I used to live it got pretty hard to find games of fantasy, so I went over to 40k to find people to play with, but now I live in a different area and there's lots of people to play.  So I dusted off my orcs and goblins (what models I could find) and managed to come up with a good sized army.
Unfortunately this will be my first go with the 7th ed O&G list.

This list is somewhat constrained by the models I have avilable, but at the bottom I will list some alternatives I can do.

First things first, in talking to some players around, I've been told that High Elves and Lizardmen are very popular armies in the area, so I definately need to anticipate some magic heavy armies.  I'm going to opt for 2 level 2 shamans, one of them a goblin with the Staff of Sneaky Stealing, and I'll be using a Spirit Totem for 3 more dispell dice, I figure this will be a good start.

anyway, here goes.

Grimgor Ironhide. (375)

Orc Big boss, (145)
Battle Standard Bearer, Spirit Totem

Orc Shaman (150)
level 2, Idol of Mork

Night Goblin Shaman (135)
Staff of Sneaky Stealing

10 Black Orcs (168)
Full Command,

15 Arrer Boys (90)

20 Orc Boyz (170)
Extra Hand Weapon. Full command

20 Orc Boyz (170)
Extra Hand Weapon. Full command

16 Big'unz (190)
Shields, Full Command

20 Night Goblins (210)
Nets. Spears. full command. 3 Fanatics.

4 Snotlings (80)

Boar Charoit (80)

2 Spear Chukkas (80)
Bullys.

3 Trolls (120)

Doom Diver (80)

Total : 2243

I'm probably going to assemble a few more night goblins to round out the 8 points. I have a partial box of them, about 15 or so, that I can draw on.

I also have avilable a partial box of regular goblins, but I'm not sure how many are there, maybe about 12.

I have 9 of the wolves out of a wolf rider squad. for the life of me I can't find the 10th wolf, I have no idea where it went. I have most of the riders, if need be I can draw the rest from the regular goblin box I have, OR I could make a pair of wolf chariots. (kind of think i'm going to do that anyway, I'm looking foward to scratch building them.

I also have a few extra orc models, 4 or 5, and most of the arms to change them to other gear. I can't change the shields on the big'uns, though, they're the old metal models.

I also have about 5 squigg hoppers, 6 squiggs and 4 hearders somewhere.  I could probably mount some of the spare night goblins on the remaining squggs and get a deacent sized squigg hopper unit out of it, but I'm not sure what I'd do with it.  Then I guess I could mount a shaman on a great cave squigg.

I also have a pair of boar boys as well as the body for the old orc character Wurzag, the savage orc shaman, who could ride one of the boars, or I could make another boar charoit.

I have a boar mounted character (The one with two axes) that could become my army's general.  I also have a regular goblin shaman, and a grom the paunch that is mounted on a foot base.

ANYWAY
To make a loooong story short, I'm trying to get back in to the game without too much of a cash investment, in case I realise that I don't want to play it any more, so the more I can manage with changing around models I already have the better.

1. You really need some scrolls. There are always some spells that you just have to stop no matter what.
2. All of the units could really use more numbers. I tend to think of 25 as the minimum for all of my units. It's just too easy to lose rank bonuses otherwise, not to mention the outnumber bonus. I'd lose the 16 bigun's to do it.
3. 2 units of 2 snotlings are probably more useful than one big unit.

What Mauleed said +

I'd upgrade the bsb to black orc so he can get heavy armor and I'd also give him a boar (for the 3+ save). This would make him far more survivable, and being a black orc, he can use gw even if he's the bsb. To get 2 scrolls in the army, you can switch the gobbos staff for those. I'd also give Nibbla's Itty Ring to the orc shaman instead of the current selecton, as it's a good bound spell item and it's usable (usually) throughout the game instead of the idol.

Regarding unit options, I think that basic boys work best with just shield. Makes them a lot more survivable in melee, altough they lose some hitting power. You can leave the killing for characters, black orcs etc. You can also do with only 2 fanatics usually, if you're short on points. The black orcs would benefit a lot from a magic banner. Pretty much all the 25 point banners would be fine for them, altough I'd prefer the waagh banner, as the extra move might get them to the right place more easily (especially if you run Grimgor with them). You don't need 25 blorcs, altough a few extra bodies would be nice, lest they be shot/magiced to death too easily.
