I picked Cadian Mechanized Guard and got my shipment yesterday.  Needless to say I am impressed.  I priced out the stuff at $1503 and rough estimate of points at 5200.

9 Boxes of troops, 4 boxes of heavy weapon teams, 7 Chimera's, 2 Russ', 2 Hellhounds, 6 Sentinals, 4 Commisars, 2 HQ boxes, 14 new Ogryn, Karskin box, and a Baneblade.

I love GW!!

akira 5665, what does this have to do with the topic?  There's nothing gaming-related in this post.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

I'm still waiting for my sisters as well, but I'm told they were mailed out today, so I should have them soon.

The winners were asked to pick a race, but it is up to GW as to what exactly they get.

Did anybody ask for High Elves?

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

Its a shame nobody picked orks. I would love to see the reaction of the player who opens the box and exclaims "wtf is this? Why did they ship me 20 boxes of some game called gorkamorka?" With a note that says "thanks for helping us clear out our storage sucka!"

Entrance fee was 0$ for 9 games total. Prizes were huge. Tournaments were well run (always some exceptions). No complaining about soft scores. Can't say enough about GW's putting this together. I can only hope they do this again next year.
