Whacky Slaanesh times are whacky and gloriously bright

Speaking of, you know about this KS for Slaanesh daemon sculpts? http://kck.st/3WI3YiH Ironically I almost didn't back it because of the boob design () but ended up going in because of the armor design and more sci-fi mix of flesh + metal that you don't often get with Slaanesh daemons. Plus some of the daemonettes remind me strongly of Diaz's work, which is obviously the one true way.

I indeed have already backed the demon damzels ^^ ! I do already have a lot of slaanesh models, but I really liked their centaur cavalry, as well as the chariots with the back flag/spoilers. Plus, there is a clothed version of their keeper, which might be a good idea for tournaments... And of course, the Diaz style finished convincing me.

I'm a little mixed on the centaurs? They seem especially soft to me, probably because of the unarmored legs. I dig the alternate chariot spoiler (SPIKES) and am all in on the princess, who I guess is like the raddest soul grinder ever?

Heheh I see but they are cat demon centaurs, 9 lives, so they do not need armor !
And much agreed on the soulgrinder, might actually be more viable than the seekers in 10th...

Edit on seekers: although, they are rather cheap, might be some use for them...

Some progress on the buildings ! Nowhere near enought bits on them, but slowly getting there...

Buildings are coming along nicely and- as a connoisseur of interesting plastic bits- you've got some very unusual bits amongst your mélange!

@Meercat: Yeah, I have been collecting bits for year, fantasizing about building a table, and am finally jumping the gun. The buildings above have parts of a hubcap, windshield wipers, a dishwasher, a carbon monoxide detector, a printer, a power sander, a beer keg, an hair dryer, a computer case, and a toilet flush.

This is also the opportunity to sort out and throw away a lot of unusable stuff tbh...

Meanwhile, I have finally found models I'd be happy to use as accursed cultists.

The big ones are coming as well, but still need to be glued to their bases...

As I recover from the latest disaster in the apartment, I'm also going through my many shoeboxes of 'treasures' and thinning the herd a bit.

A truly impressive list of found bits properly employed, and it shows, the terrain is going to be great.

I am amazed at how many items from the plumbing repair section of my hardware store lend themselves to futuristic buildings and 'machines'.

AHahah that is truly an heartbreaking process yeah, I did keep that one printer bit that would make a brilliant transport ramp large enough for leman russes, or that oval shaped thing that would make a 50cm long raider for vect...But place had to be made.

And yeah, plumbing stuff is pretty awesome for industrial machines. Dismantling that old dishwasher years ago was opening a treasure trove. I just needed the pump, kept so much more !

It's cool seeing all those little treasures becoming that nice terrain. I've trying to pare down my collection of random plastic bits stolen from the recycling bin and broken objects too. I'm trying to keep them condensed enough to fit in the large cardboard box that I store them in... the the entire drawer of my desk that I keep them in... oh yeah and some of the drawers in that organizer. Problem is, I keep finding containers of them in other places too

Yeah, I regularly have to rationalize storage of such bits. Like, Ok, I'm not going to store any plastic bits ouside of this box. And the one there for bigger ones. And this box is for stuff I'll use in this project I'll definitely start next month....

Also wanted to say how much I like the Kill Team Slaanesh marines, especially their eyes. There's a piece of art by Adrien Smith that depicts Daemonettes with horrible black eyes, your marines have the same creepy look. Very scary, well done!

And this is a look I'll keep trying to emulate with my ongoing possessed unit, for the faces, the bare belly, and the claw like shoulder pieces.

Ah right, I totally forgot about his Marine works too. Man, Smith does Slaanesh really well, just repulsive. Nice job replicating the look!
