I was at the gold farm today, while I was there, I played with the spawn platform so the pigmen don't pile up on the lower level anymore which makes the farm run faster & smoother.
I also noticed someone added a sword cooker in my gold farm, I took it down and added it into my sorting system. There's a chest for the coal/charcoal behind the ladder going up, please keep it filled, otherwise the swords could back up and block the other filters. The nuggets get sent into gold nugget #2 chests. So check both chests for gold when you use the farm. If someone is that worried about the extra gold, who am I to argue with paying customers Just let me know next time before modifications are made to the farm, as I don't want any chance for ghasts to spawn.
It really needs to be moved, it can be rebuilt on the other side of the walkway and then you can build your own path straight to the main west tunnel. Which should be easier for you and allow you to make your own portal room/tunnel. I 1/2 slabbed your portal area for your own safety Get with me if you need help moving it, or at the end of the month I'll move it.

Hey dark, could you do me a small favor and move the bottom of my tower Y25 and below inside the big box, and shift it 3 blocks to the east please? my OCD will really appreciate it
My new 243 block diameter dome I'm making is off center by 3 blocks :(
on another note, does anyone have a ungodly amount of sand or glass they're willing to trade?

Yeah I am currently thinking about getting back into minecraft for some side fun, anyone have any ideas what I should aim for getting in terms of new blocks?

for 1.12 you'll want lots of gravel & sand for the new concrete blocks. and hardend clay for the new colored pattern blocks

well not in any vanilla way. There is a mesa around somewhere that's available for mining.
there's also a fun exploit with zombies and the end portal where we could duplicate all the clay and shulker boxes we need but dark probably wouldn't approve

Oh... Well I searched for three days last time to try and find an end portal that wasn't raided and had surviving shulker's to speak of.
It really sucks I cannot find anything to help with that in terms of speed :/

I've been playing daily again working on my tower and such. It really depends on the time you play, I've been seeing various people logging in again lately.
Some other things I've been up to, people might be interested in:
I made a ender ender down the west bridge in the end. Use at your own risk, great xp & ender pearls for everyone. It's free even, but the gold farm is still the better source for xp.

Inside the washington monument I made a cage so you can pillar up with coal ore and convert it to just coal, ore any ore block you want to use fortune 3 on. with hoppers to catch the droppings and a place to put in your own shulker boxes.
and lastly I finally got a trader in my hall with sweeping edge 3, (great for using at the ender ender) so I now have all the enchantments again. the lag at my place may or may not be worse though due to the work I've been doing

Already looking forward to place some new terracota blocks at my place Haven't played minecraft since 1.10 came out, so this is going to be a comeback!
