Behind you

I'm a Dark angels fan, always have been and I just love their background of regaining their honour one heretic at a time.

However, I was thinking that when Luther turned to chaos, would not have some of the Dark Angels with him have fled the impeding turn to chaos, then got caught in the warp and sent far away.

They would not have been classed as traitors or renegades because they still were loyal to the emperor and had not turned to chaos and therefore would theoretically be a successor chapter.

Also, who thinks that the necrons are going to get a couple of bigger units? The apocalypse rulebook hints at the existence of greater machineries, and a ruler above necron lords (disregarding the C'tan). I have a feeling that the next 40K version will be focussing a lot more on the Necrons as they awaken more, and start harvesting.

I think any loyal Dark Angels sent out by the scattering thing will be regarded as renegades to the actual Dark Angels no matter how loyal they "may" still be.

And lets pray about the necrons thing, god knows they need some diversity.

Death comes for you.

Yep. It's a good idea. They might conflict with other Imperial forces, but at least they have a good excuse to beat up on your friend's Ultramarines every once and again.

I think it depends on how the "scattered" Dark Angels are "found".....for example, if a long range distress beacon is located by the Dark Angels and tracked back to its source, as the "new" DA arrive they find a group of "Fallen" who seem to be serving the Emperors will, and willing to rejoin the chapter, with stories of how they fougt the fallen on Caliban only to be swept up in the collosal warp storm that devasted the planet.....it would seem strange that the current DA would simply kill them?!?....wouldn't it?......

However....having said that....how could they be allowed to live and fight alongside the current DA? remember, no one but the inner circle actually knows about the fall! To have these original DA walking around spilling the beans would leave the Chapter completely open to scrutiny, especially by the Inquisition.....so the only recourse would be to either induct these "new" Angels directly into the Inner circle, kill them (innocent or not) or simply imprison them in the vaults deep in the Rock never to be seen again......but what a waste of progenoids and geneseed that would be huh?

Man down, Man down....
