Disclaimer: I haven't played WHFB in several years, so I'm both rusty and largely unaware of the changes caused by 7th edition. I did read that lone characters are more vulnerable so my mages are mostly on foot, to be added to my infantry regiments.

I read that daemonettes are a poor choice but I like the models so I'll give them a run. I'm worried the devoted will get shot to pieces before they get into combat. They also eat a great deal of points for Str 3 attack; should I take a smaller unit? I'm wondering if the list lacks hitting power. If the daemonettes and devoted get blasted only the Anointed and the COKs remain. I picked COKs over Chaos Knights b/c after adding Bolt Throwers and Spawn I didn't have any rares left, plus I was tight on points. Should I ditch one of them and add Knights?

this is a good army but needs some serious infantry power,
i would take units of warriors of chaos instead of those marauders and take out those dark riders of the demonettes
on steeds of slannesh.

finally take more devoted of slannesh instead of demonettes
because soporific musk is very, very useful against other units.

this will make yor army alot more scary in combat and still leave you with strong units who can take a charge.
