Good GRAVY. This is why most people should be kept away from TV. No, I'm not talking about appearance; I'm talking production value and acting skills. Yikes.

That said, the guys in the video seemed to be a pretty accurate depiction of miniature gamers. I'm not that much different than those guys (and most certainly have absolutely no business being on TV), and most of the people I've played against over the years are like that. It's a shame, as TV isn't the best medium to introduce geeks like me, but in real life we're often personable and fun. They may have terrific social lives; you never know.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

@Blackmoor, I swear I can see you in the background of that video. You must have been playing on the next table over.

That's excellent in that it will help get the word out to those who probably aren't normally exposed to tt gaming.

However, there are more tt games than just GW. And her acting was REALLY bad.

Funny- that video was shot in my hometown!

Lest anyone believe Richland, Washington might be a gamers' paradise, it's actually a radiation-tainted hellhole in the middle of a vast desert wasteland. I'm not kidding about the radiation- that's where the Nagasaki bomb's uranium was made, and is the biggest Superfund cleanup site in the states.

On the other hand, nuke facilities draw lots of engineers, and thus the town has a nerd-to-normal ratio several times the national average. Unfortunately, most of those nerds are computer gamers these days, so gaming is still pretty sparse out there.

Oh, and the local highschool mascot (the Richland Bombers) is a mushroom cloud. The motto is (well, they yanked it in the 80's, so _was_) "Nuke 'Em 'Till They Glow and Shoot 'Em In the Dark." I kid you not.

It's worth a visit if you're ever driving through Eastern Washington, just to gawk at.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

@Savnock, Please tell us that you have moved away from your hometown. BTW, have you had a checkup lately?
