Can you replace a grandmasters stormbolter with a chainfist and still keep the NFW to keep him at str 6 with a force wapon? If you could would the chainfist double his str of 6 with the NFW or go off the basic str of 4?
And I do know if you double the str at 6 it would only be 10.

This is silly! Buttons are not how one escapes dungeons! I would smash the button and rain beatings liberally down on the wizard for playing such a trick!

I'm not really sure about the replacing of the stormbolter, but as I understand powerfists/chainfists, they double the strength of the model wearing it. So only strength 8.

My understanding is that if you possess two close combat weapons with different effects, you choose which one to use and the other counts as an additional close combat weapon. So against Marines you use the NFW-against a Land Raider you pop out the fist. The other weapon confers no advantage when using the other though desides granting you the +1 attack.

Well if that is true than does the gm strike at normal I 5 or at 1 if i am using the NFW against marines like you said and not the powerfist/chainfist

I5. You have to chose wich weapon your model uses in combat and then use the whole 'special rules package'.

On the topic 'Wich bases are supplied with my Terminators and how could I abuse it'...after turning into a debate on english language and the meaning of the word 'supply'.

Ok now would it be better to take a chain fist or the psychic power hammer hand which doubles the str and gives him a extra ccw.

Chainfist if the armory allows it, Thunder Hammer otherwise. The only advantage Hammer Hand has is that you strike at Initative, but it requires a psychic test, and against vehicles that is not usually an issue. I can't remember how the DH armory costs out a chain fist, but a Thunder Hammer is 25 pts-the same cost as buying the power weapon and Hammer Hand.

Chainfist is 30 pts and thunder hammers are free exchange. I have thought of putting some on the termies but the grandmasters force weapon is to good to pass up.
