My Night Goblin army is lacking on the offensive and I was wondering what I should get in the terms of Warmachines.
I love the Idea of a Doom Diver as I hear they guarantee for fun but some Spear Chukkas/a Rock Lobber would probably be more effective.
Thoughts?

2 to 4 Spear chukkas are excellent in pretty much every greenskin army. They are dirt cheap and have the potential to do nasty things. Doom diver is also very handy vs heavily armored stuff + it's more accurate than the rock lobber. Good mix would be 4 chukkas and 1 doom diver if you just have the special/rare slots.

Right and I was also wondering how many/if I should field Trolls?
First attempt at this kind of army...

Trolls are stupid with the low Ld of Nightgoblins that is going to be a problem.
