How about a Nether rail system?
So your line ends in a Nether portal on one side of the mountain, travels through the Nether X blocks until it hits another Nether portal on the other side and re-enters the Overworld?

We have one of those already the trip from anvils to the sacred mountain gets 3 of the biomes needed, but if you get the achievement you can either hop off at anvils or the sacred mountain and take the nether trains back to spawn instead of finishing the trip.

biome track update

step 2 is done, the track now forms a loop for the most part

if you want to try it I suggest going south, use a furnace cart or run the obsidian track from anvil to Dr Ians, then hop back on the cart track to get you back to spawn. If you head north to start with, there's a switch and you will go the wrong way, so you'll have to watch for it and hop out to change tracks.

step 3 is build a train, I want to build a full size train, but the space at spawn is limited, so I'll see what I can come up with. Unless we want to bulldoze the farms, the horse pen, and probably the banner hall for a really cool train

Ah, but if you miss the switch, you get to see the Mesa!

I'll have to get on and see if I can't design a more user-friendly furnace-cart loading system. I mostly use the line for freight and just run the track.

We could. I still wanted to do a 2-track setup so we don't have any head-on collisions. Maybe have a powered track in the center? Lowered down, so the other rail lines protect you from skeletons?

There's plenty of Iron stocked in the farm or was last I checked for a good few KM of tracks. Least 10-15 iron bar stacks,

At 16, for 6 approx bars, that's least 160 for 1, or 2km of track there alone.

No. For someone who takes the time to build huge projects, you certainly are going through verbal gymnastics to avoid a 15 minute repair job.

I have nothing more to say on this.

I didn't break it, didn't even know it was broke.

If you knowingly build in the path of the dragon, you should expect it to be destroyed every time the dragon is summoned. I'd never build a big project on the main island, nor would I expect others to repair anything I built on that island. I did build one of the bridges leading away from the island and am constantly amazed that it still stands.

Yeah, iron's not an issue. I've got the regular tracks covered.

I need to figure out exactly what I want the station to be able to accomplish, and figure out how that can be worked out. I'll get on that, then.

I gifted a few extra e chests to spawn. I had the materials.

There now one in the market center, map room and main square.

This world is currently on its third regeneration, but the first ended just as the dragon was introduced into the game.

Wait, so if there is a reset then a new egg spawns? Cool.

I thought the Overworld was only on it's second iteration but The End had been reset separately so it's on it's third iteration.

We've had the pre-1.0 world where spawn was a crowded collection of various people's different building styles (that world started before the nether existed, so many people built close to each other). Then the post-1.0 world where spawn was in the desert and I first built the Dakka sign at spawn. Then when they introduced all the new biomes and a different biome layout (1.7 I think?) we had another reset for the current world.

Edit: But you are correct, I did reset the end in this world at one point before there was the option to respawn the dragon, so I suppose there could be a third dragon egg out there...

Oh yeah, I remember that time.
We had a big gathering to kill it and then something went wrong (you were recording it iirc but then something broke some where and it didn't record properly or something like that)... I think that egg might have been destroyed but I'm not 100% sure. That must have been almost 2 years ago now. Or maybe even 3.

What's wrong with two eggs.

Strange things happen in vanilla too.

It's the nebulous 3rd egg we're talking about .
And I don't know, I didn't see anything wrong with having another egg even though the End was reset pretty much as soon as we finished the fight and returned to the overworld lol,

Oh yeah Master of Ordinance, I've gone crazy lol.
I'm gonna tunnel from Stoneyshore to the Ulm protectorate islands and sea temple.

Only 800-900 blocks, and some 7200-8100 stone to mine out to get there lol

I might be here a while. But it is now one rather long diamond mine, and netting a nice ore proffit

You can literally ride there eventually if you wanted! A flat even Y12 run.

A handy link, this is rough route, all planned to avoid peoples lands, no one is getting undercut and should avoid mining shafts and strip mines.
If you live near by, if you get subsidense, it was not me lol

Sure. Madness is contagious did you not know!

Follow the tunnel marked ore cart 3. Its near the subway stop. It does jink round a lava flood so it cuts sideways then carries on to the islands.
It runs to approx -1250. The target is -1950 approx before jinking to islands about 100 blocks east or west.

Tunnel is 3x3, just seal off caves you pass so no one sharing it lol!

Its larger than needed but also allows horses to be rode down it and take a two line rail track.
My inclined shaft down can be rode down, down to level 12. So means fast travel if needed.
I also sent over a few eggs to help with the chicken diet earlier

Keep what you dig of course
Srone can be dumped up in the room off the main hall. There's a few chests in there now.
Ground floor if wanna dump it.

You can use ore cart one to get bulk stone to surface.
