The Annapolis Mall store in Annapolis/Parole Maryland recently moved across the street to a strip mall. The store employees, ever the consumate salespeople championed the move noting that they would now have 6 gaming tables instead of 4.

Well, last night my son and I packed up our tyranids and eldar and headed to the new location for some 1500 point games.

Surprise, there were 6 tables as advertised. BUT, the tables were now 4x4 feet instead of 8x4 as they had been at the other store. There was barely space to stand between tables. I may be a new player, but 1500 points on a 4x4 board, or 1850 points, would be absurd.

I feel sorry for the workers at this store, since I now have no reason to drop in, play, and spend money. We do have the Battle Bunker in Glen Burnie, just about 15 minutes further away. I wonder if the store in Arundel Mills shopping mall is going to split up their 6x4 tables?

Sad that we've lost a playing venue.

Annapolis gaming has always sucked. Moving to Va was a godsend when I moved about 7 years ago.

in my store in south west of england we got 1 6x4 and 1 4x4
and its the only store for the entire county so you got it lucky

count your blessings.... 6 4x4 tables are better than none... DOH!.
