The new ork lootas/burna kit can be assembled as either lootas or burnas (ignoring the alternative big shoota and rokkit also on the sprues...). so what to do with the spare bits, espceially the burna bits since lootas seem so popular?
I reckon that the burna fuel backpacks would be a great base for stormboy jump packs - just add some sort of pointy cone to the top (or maybe add a small ring of plastic tube under the kit's rounded backpack tops) and some sort of thruster/exhaust thingy to the bottom (probably after relocating the existing piping).

Waddaya think? Any ideas on a good source of pointy cones and thruster/exhaust thingies?

The land of cotton.

I picked up a bunch of Kotobukiya Modelers Support Goods rocket nozzles back in the day when I was building Gundam Models. They are not so easy to find nowadays but are out there.

You could always just use card and make simple rocket nozzles. Cheap and easily made.
