Can anybody recommend a type of RTV for mold making, and a source to get it?

Ditto for the resin (or whatever material to put in it).

I've made RTV molds in the past, used Alumalite for the casting material, but I haven't done it in a while. Need to know where to get.

Thanks.

Well, the Alumilite site does feature a list of dealers/distributors: http://www.alumilite.com/index.php?page=dealers

The land of cotton.

If you are doing small batches Micro Mark has a good two part RTV mold kit. They sell a good variety of resin mixes too. The only caution I would give you is don't buy until you are ready to work with it. The RTV in particular doesn't have much of a shelf life... less than 6 mo.

Preach that gospel, brother!

I bought some with the anticipation of using it.
When I went to use it... Well, it's hard to make molds with 2 bottles of perfectly solid RTV compound.
