I was inspired a great deal when I saw Dave Taylor's Cathay army based on the Bretonnian ruleset, this lead me to start an Undead army, raised from the remains of a decimated army of Araby. The army is based off of the Tomb Kings rules, and will draw from Muslim/Arabic mythology as well as Medieval armies from the middle east.

These models are basic block undead warriors. I am going to add more detail with greenstuff, as well as helmets and shields made from cast resin.

My latest update to this project are two Hasadi Cult Sorcerers. These guys are the 'Liche Priests' of the army.





These are based off of the Empire Wizard kit, along with ghoul heads, and some greenstuff for gap-filling and head wraps.

The sorcerers are my favorite pieces so far. What are they based on?

I like it as well, somewhat simple and effective.

flaming skull = win

I love the use of the flaming skull, but he needs to stay the hell away from the Tomb King / Prince.

Just paint it blue and call it coldfire or something.

The cult priests are the from the empire wizard kit, plus some bits from a skaven box set, as well as the heads of ghouls.

My idea with the flaming skull is that he could be casting the Tomb King magic missile incantation who's name escapes me at the moment. I am going to try to do a little source light action when I paint them.

@ Malfred: Soon I will have a big block of warriors, a not as big block of archers and some evil Djinn spirits (counts as Ushabti) to bring to the table in a small game. They may even be painted!!!

Sorcerers are absolutely outstanding. I'd love to see this army continue to develop. I've daydreamed about doing something along the lines of an Araby theme, but you're doing it. What are you using as source images?
