I'm talking about slugga boyz, just to make sure.

The way i see it, ork boyz have 2 attacks for their profile.
Then according to page 46(rulebook), a choppa(closecombat weapon) can do a spacial close combat attack and gives the wielder an additional close combat attack.
Also, on page 40(rulebook), it says you get + 1 attack for having 2 weapons.

This ads up to 4 attacks, but somehow that cant be possible for 6 points models(i'm an ork player btw).

So, what do you guys think?

The reference on page 46 to all CC weapons giving +1A is likely just an error attempting to reference the fact that if you have two of them you'll be getting the +1A bonus.

I know by the RAW that doesn't mean a whole lot but absolutely nobody plays the way you're suggesting.

I know in my FAQ I addressed the issue just to be clear because you are most certainly correct that the rules indicate what you say they do.

Ultimately it isn't such an advantage to just the Orks as if you play that way it affect any model with a single CC weapon and most armies have such models.

Thanks for your evaluation. Yes indeed, most other armys have CC weapons aswell, but usually not as much as orks do. It would make sence what you are saying, cause you could argue that because a powerfist works for all your attacks, you should get a additional close combat for every attack you make, so you should get 6 ^^ and 6 for those and uhm, 12 for those and uhm, well, you get my point. So the best would be to wait for the ork faq which will never come?

Well, quicker than that, 5th edition solves the problem (likely out in summer).

The wording on that same "page" in the leaked PDF is crystal clear.

Until then, like I said, you just have to play against the RAW because no one plays like that and unless you like to get in arguments every game and/or tournament judges to tell you off you just have to suck it up and accept that everyone plays it one way regardless of what the rules say.

Ah ok, if its that way in the 5th edition, I'll play like that. Thanks for your help. Already suspected something like that since it would be rather overpowered.
