This seems like it would be such a common conversion and yet I've never seen it before. It looks awesome! Those wings are huge and it makes these guys really stand out while still keeping a very graceful appearance. Great job and I'd love to see some paint on em.

<3 the wings, I use the same on my Seraphim ^^

Assuming Swooping Hawks are suppose to have the flying base, you might want to glue the bottom of one under your exarch. People are often fine when it come to gaming with you using a base larger than normal on a mini, but they will often have a discrepancy if it is a smaller base size.

btw- I can't tell on yours, but when I attached my wings via green stuff, the green parts didn't look so "convincing", so I covered them up by using green stuff again to make some scrolls and stuff hide the connection point. Might be of help for you, and it's also a good way to make their movement/momentum more convincing (in that you can have the scrolls/robes/etc flowing in the direction of air-flow).

Is this an Exodites army?

(Sorry, I mean Exodites counts as Eldar army)

right now it's a double alliance (iyanden and exodites). I'm thinking of dropping some jetbikes and adding in some support weapons to make it a triple alliance with Ulthwe ^.^
Pretty much I field Exosuit (wraithlord), Raptor Knights (shining spears), Pathfinders (the middle men), Yriel (as himself), Corsairs (swooping hawks), Wraithguard (gogogo Iyanden), and Eldrad (as himself). If you wanna see my previous exodites, look for them in the thread in my sig

Here's my Yriel and his corsairs base painted. Did bleached bone on under, enchanted blue over, sunbust yellow over, scab red under, very watered down black across whole model, then blazing orange to simulate a light source. What do ya think? ;D

your paint scheme is very interesting! but, alas, are those unpainted/primed parts in the cracks and crevices?

also, what more do you plan to do to them paint-wise?

it's either bleached bone or unpainted :(
I'll probably ink them, a really watered down black or something.
As far as paint the color they are now is there armor color, so i'm going to paint the details, and the wings. Or should i just ink the wings?
the rangers still need to be done, what you see is just their cloaks.
Thanks,
~dan

They look good so far. Just paint in the details and they'll be ready for the tabletop and possibly display too.
