Yeah, I'm really Lost and Damned. Especially now that LatD went to search for the lost (sheesh, those bad puns just keep on coming, don't they...) Squat Beer Festival. But once you're Lost, you're Lost for ever. And Damned too.
This is supposed to be a miniature for my GD entry sometime in the not very distant future, part of a lager squad of very special Big Mutants (like there's any other type). He's named Wharghhh. Or will be when I finish him. Still very WIP. Forgive the poor quality of those photos, I can't be bothered with assembling a light tent for WIP's.

Hah, just this one as you see him here. I need to attach the right hand, add piping and rivets and do the wires he has instead of legs. There's going to be Mr. Tank and Dr. Smokey too but they exist only as concepts as of now...

I'm not sure about the body but the cylinders on his back look a little like cork. Do I win?

No cylindrical smoking item for you. The body was sculpted with Brown Stuff from Reaper and the canisters with Magic Sculpt. The chippings on the canisters are intentional. That's why it looks a bit like cork now.

The photos are pretty good and far away from piss poor. I would be glad if erveryone here could come to that standard. What bothers me a bit is his pose which is not really aggrisve. And I suggest more metal shining through some where. He got the 5 stars on creepy chaos monster but you should keep in mind that GD are one recently by a lot of free hand works (the more the better it seems not a trend I like) so tatoos maybe an option here.

Spooky and fairly original, with a french feeling twist. What a treat today's visit to dakka has been It clearly works to take some time off and then have heaps of coolness to witness.

GOOD call on that one HMV, I was hoping your revised sketch was going to become reality. Pity about the time and effort that went into those tubes, but I think the crouch of doom is much better for this dude. Look forward to the addition of cybery bits, and his tongue again

altough I realize that you're still in a very eraly stage, I can't shake the feeling that he looks too naked. IMO it needs a lot of cyberbits.

Before, the model looked awesome despite the enormous traps and disproportionately small arms because of the "wraith-y" pose. Now, with legs, the atrophied arms bother me more.
Still absolutely stunning work, though.
Edit:
Eh, actually the arms are a huge part of what makes it original.

Well, I could run some numbers for you to help you decide, but according to popular opinion, math doesn't make any difference in 40k, so why bother. So instead, I'll recount a completely unverifiable, anecdotal piece of evidence to leverage my position.
One time, I had 8 Berzerkers charge some blood claws, and all the blood claws were killed. Another time, a squad of Grey Knight Terminators charged my berzerkers in cover, and my Berzerkers killed them all. Another time, my berzerkers got shot before they could reach the enemy, and another time they won me 100 bucks because a guy didn't believe I painted them myself, and he bet against me.
See how helpful that was? |

Another small update. More wires jabbed in, alternated back sockets and three screws screwed into the neck. There's going to be lots of those in the knees and elbows.

They're wandering in the Chaos Wastes searching for someone who would cast them. The only polish company that does casting on demand acts a bit... silly, so I'm currently considering other, foreign possibilities. I assure you'll be the first to know when they're available.
