Hey all.
I was wondering if anyone knows whether there are Ork Necromunda gangs and if there are any official rules/fluff?
Thanks all

not as far as I know. the obvious choice would be using Goliaths and go all strengt with these guys, but I don't remember ever to have heard of something like this.

Ooh, that would be cool. I guess I'll have to model that.

How would you model the juves? The biggest difference
between 40k and Necromunda for me was the presence
of juves on the battlefield.

I'd imagine the same way you'd model yoofs in Gorkamorka, although that's mostly a paint scheme thing(lighter green). Or using older, smaller Ork models.

I wonder if using the Gorkamorka gang rules would work in Necromunda, since they use the same rules.

Did they have the same levelling scheme and similar types
of skills?

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

maybe you could mix with goblin parts? There are larger goblins, are there not? Maybe goblin arms from the box set.

I like the lighter green colour, especially if the bigger ones have more grubbins.

You can also do things like extend the torsos and necks of the larger ones.

I'm not quite sure. are there actually rules that juves become full fledged gangers? or do they just get better stats like in mordtheim? because if that's the case, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't take grots.

Well,I'm using Gorkamorka models and every now and then I come across one who has a small weapon, not as hardcore looking as the others,so thats how I model the juves.

Yes, but they were in the Outlander book. Not really a gang, but the stats for them give you a good area to start from.
They have Beastmen, as well. ( Hint Hint.)

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Yeah, as I said, they're almost exactly the same rules, just more oriented towards how vehicle based gangs work, but the rules would work without the "must have vehicles to carry the whole gang" rule. Check them out at the Fanatic site. I do warn you, if you go this route, the points may need a little conversion work, as Gorkamorka gangs are 100 teef, with boyz being around 5 teef. However, vehicle-less gangs seem to come out at the same amount of models as 1000 cred starting Necro gangs.

Those are the old Gorkamorka orks.

They look pretty good. The skin has a very nice green to it. I'm guessing the second and last ork are juves. Am I right?

Lol,Yup your right Snorkle.
And yeah, they're just classic Gorkamorka models,no real conversion other than sticking an old metal Goliath Heavy Stubber one one of them.

It would be quite easy to use Gorkamorka rules along side Necromunda.

You'd just have to find a way to convert teef to credits.

Added bonus is that you would have vehicle rules for Necromunda
