I am collecting the 5th Company of Dark Angels, and would like him to be a "special character" in my army, but I can't find if he is named anywhere. Am I blind, or is he not named.

I've got a vague recollection of a list of all the captains of the DA being published, wither in an IA article or the Angels of Death codex

think its Ascherre as far as i know think theres a small story about him fighting chaos demons somewhere in the wh40k 2nd edition rulebook

also rememeber that your games are nto neccesarily in 41st millenium, so iyour captian could easily still have been a passed captain of the Dark angels

I run a 5th Co DA force as well. He was named in the 2nd ed book as Sheol IIRC. In IA Vol V, the Seige of Vraks, mentions him as well but I can't recall his name at this time. It started with an "H"...

So yes, he has been named but don't let that stop you from using your own character as apparently they change roles fairly often.
