jihaa, stormboyz first to close combat and then rest of the boyz shoota dakka and, big meks and lootas dakka dakka

I like the list but it feels alittle average. I think working in a couple of Shoota mobs on trucks would be alot more fun. (test this first but it sounds fun to me)

Break the last Shoota boy mob into two groups of 11 + Nob w/PK and mount them in trucks.

To shave off the points to be able to field them I would take off a couple stormboys from each mob.

You get a few benefits/tactics from doing this.
- 3 more rokkits
- 2 highly mobile objective/terrain takers
-12in move on the truck plus 18in range on the shootas will put almost everything in range 1st turn.
-1 more PK
-A unit that can be mobile enough to charge along side your stormboyz

I really like your new list... and I started out trying to build the cheapest army I could, too... of course, now I keep changing my mind how I want to do it, so I'm spending a lot more than I probably should have...


something to think about... having lots of troop units is good for scoring units, but you may want to consider switching to 2 units of 30 boyz...


here's the math: to force a test for 20 boyz, your opponenent needs to kill 11 boyz, so to possibly send off 60 boyz, that's 33 kills

if you have 30 boyz, they need to kill 21 boyz to force a test, so for the same 60 boyz, they need 42 kills

you save 40 points and lose one nob with pk, and have one less scoring unit, but you still have 4 scoring units, and the 30 boyz are more likely to stick around and score at the end

I'm on the fence on truks... you lose the leadership advantage, and that can make them brittle...

I think overall, your new list should kick ass... let me know how it does
