I'd say South West is the least explored direction. Only recentish was that area of the map explored so I'd guess the area beyond is even less so.

The closest nether portal is in south tunnel, going to Kiwi461's place.

Well, there's still the quarry at the far end of the South nether tunnel. I did some mining a couple weeks back so you can take another double chest worth of granite, diorite or andesite if you want or you can mine it out of the quarry below. Plenty of exposed stone types down there.

I saw. Thanks. It's not just Stone though. It's a second resource gathering location.

I'm going to like 8000 over world to establish a second mining site for ores, gives me more land to explore for materials as I'm pretty close to spawn and most land has been claimed etc.

Gives me more access to resources and land as my island costal site is not ideal for construction of everything.

Once killed, Evokers do not re spawn.
Once dead and totems gathered they will never respawn in that mansion.

not sure on vindicators.

did a map lead you there? or were you following my tunnel? my lil girl has been decorating it

I haven't tested it with the new updates, but when you buy a map you can buy one to a place already searched. If the map you buy has been explored someone beat you to that one.

South once your past the mapped area is pretty empty.
Found a sweet spot out about 8km from spawn and a good few klicks over world from others.

Hey guys, free farms below Ulm's central keep.

For Skeletons head down the stairs, then straight out the exit and into the Small Hall of Arches. Head to the back right corner and follow the corridor coming off it, the farm is at the end.

For Zombies head down the stairs, past the tracks and past the vault. Keep heading through the central way and dont deviate, its right at the end.

Both are automatic AFK farms, so have fun.

yes to all 3. the map guys will keep selling the same map though, even after the location has been explored. so you basically buy a map, raid the place, kill the map guy.

Maybe colour code the paths?
Those vaults are not easy to navigate? Follow blue to one, red to other for example?

And i may be ght have over done the stallion bay mining main ore pass.... But it looks cool...

Its 8 wide. Has capacity for 4 double chests of ore cart systems each on separate tracks of two chest carts. With main tunnel 4x3 at level 12 and kind of is larger than the corner nook with a bed and chest that make up rest of bed lol.

However his sacrifice will not be in vain and the Ulmanian Great Southern Expedition will go on!

Really need to find that fire source and deal with it - Biggus got stuck in the portal and burned :/

Anyway, Stallion Bay is looking great. I admit I did add a slight structure on to a small island near the surface exit, just a little gift for you to build on Helo.
Heading still further south following this treasure map, it hints at an unexplored Woodland Mansion

When I get round to making it back to the second Base il move the portal and widen exit. I think problem was no way out for a horse on far side. It's easily fixed though.

Well, the Ulmanian Jungle ruins are now linked up to the nether. There is just one wee problem though.....
It appears that the ancient nether portal within the temple was linked to a twin portal on the other side, which appears to be within the ruins of a hithero unexplored Nether fortress.....

I am slowly tunnelling North - hope to be linked up to Dakka central by Yule!

Not wholly Minecraft-related, but just a general warning: a few friends of mine have recently had their PayPal accounts shuttered and been perma-banned from using the service because they signed up before they were 18, in what's apparently a mass-sweep of users.

I don't know about anyone else, but Minecraft was the only reason I ever got a PayPal account before I was 18--it's the only thing I actually used it for before 18 --and the same rings true for several of my friends. So if you bought Minecraft back when PayPal was the only option to do so, it might be worth checking how old you were when you made the PayPal account, and prepare to empty the account of any funds you've got left in it and make a new one--assuming you're 18 now, of course.

As far as I can tell from a bit of research, there is no defence PayPal will accept, so this is just a heads-up based on knowing that Minecraft once needed to be bought through PayPal, and knowing a fair number of people who weren't 18+ when they did so.

Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Hmmm...
Seems I rubbed off my madness in you.
The only thing I'd say is to check carefully the coordinates on one you want. Times or divide by 8 and get level rough. It may link a portal to one you want?

Its one way to realign portals.
