2250 points and trying to decide between 3 yehtis or a second scrap launcher. Yehtis are fun to play with (plus handy as have magical weapons) but run off the board like nothing else on earth.

Also, what about switching out the gorger for a second cannon?

Other than not playing Ogres any advice?

Here is my current list for 2206 points
Bruiser (general)
Butcher x 2
Hunter plus 'tusks
6 ogres
4 ogres
3 ogres
2 x 20 gnoblers
2 x 2 man lead belcher
scraplauncher
3 x yehtis
gorger
cannon

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

Apart from the advice you seek I see couple of basic flaws in the list. Firstly I'd seriously recommend upgrading the bruiser to tyrant with good gear. The killyness and leadership 9 he spreads are very much needed in OK list, especially as these guys take panic tests a lot. Secondly Split 6 ogres to 2x3 too, you're just missing attacks with big units and you definetly don't want to aim for rank bonus as it costs a zillion points.

About the question, yehtis are the better choice here as frankly scraplauncer isn't very good (the misfire table especially is awful). If you want extra gnoblars, take trappers. 2 units of normal gnoblars is enough. The gorger and cannon are both good but I think they may work better in pairs (2 gorgers or 2 cannons).

My only comments are, yes, get a tyrant with a tenderiser, put a skullmantle on a butcher, and put a bangstick on the butcher. Then, split up the ogres in 2x3 like chaos lord said, MSU is really critical in OK armies.

and yea, drop the second scraplauncher and put in the yhetee's and trappers.

SM- Lets roll to see who goes first
Nob- Urgh...ok, I got a 6
SM- Oops, looks like I got an 8, so I go first
Nob- You got a 8 on a 6 sided die?
SM- Um, yep.
Nob- Space marines.....

i would take the yethis and make you brusier a tyrant with long strider and a great weapon and if you have the points demon killing scars. combine the tyrant with the yethis to cause some serious fast maythem for you opponent (especially skaven or night goblins)
