Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

Am I the only one that thinks they're stupid? They're demons. What do they need morale for.

There are bigger, more powerful demons - hence demonic champions.

There are power-hungry ruinous powers to whom the demons have pledged themselves (or are an extension of I suppose) and who are obsessed with claiming followers and manifesting their icons in the mortal realm - hence demonic standard bearers.

And while I'm sure demons love the din of battle, there are certain unholy instruments that can push them on to greater feats of mayhem, by projecting the screams of the dying or the mutable music of the spheres - hence demonic musicians.

Actually it makes more sense to me than undead command :S

I always wondered about Tomb King horns. How do they blow horns with no lungs or lips. Lizards ae almost the same.

So far as daemons, I like the idea of a daemonic version of Gunnery Seargent Hartman selecting the best lesser daemons to be banner and fife for the unit.

Only now do I realize how much I prefer Pete Haines' "misprints" to Gav Thorpe's "brainfarts." :Abadabadoobaddon
