Nearest I can tell, it seems to be heavily flavored with high Spanish/Portuguese, and a little mix of Polish/Romanian. Does anyone have any more concrete analysis that could help direct me towards some additional names for my Crimson Fists?

Thought for Food:
I was under the assumption that the Imperial Fists were named after Germanic derivative names, and thus their successor chapters were as well. This seems to hold up somewhat with the Black Templars, but deviates when we come to the Crimson Fists.

Thanks for the input.

The only Crimson Fist I can think of off the top of my head is Pedro Cantor (or Kantor, in some sources).

The IF names seem to be drawn from a variety of Terran sources. Russian, Chinese, American, etc.

Here's the list of named Crimson Fist characters that I can find:

- Chapter Master Alexis Polux (First Chapter Master)
- Chapter Master Pedro Cantor (alternately spelled Kantor - current Chapter Master)
- Captain Cortez (Fourth Company Captain - presumed deceased)
- Captain Drakken (Third Company Captain)
- Vet Sergeant Huron Grimm

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack
