The sink.

If my unit of 25 clanrats is charged on one flank by 3 orcs, and on another flank by 2 orcs (very small warband game), does that count as a flank charge that removes rank bonuses? Or does it have to be one US 5 unit?

Also, for table quarters do I need a single US 5 regiment to claim a quarter or will multiple units that add up to US 5 suffice?

In each case, you need one unit who's got US 5.

Even if both units had hit the same flank, you would not negate the skaven rank bonus. It must be a single unit with a US of 5 (or a single model such as a chariot with a character in it, or a ridden monster, that is US 5 or greater).

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.
