Picked up Battle for Skull Pass awhile back for the rulebook, and been looking at the goblin figs that came with it. They're pretty cool looking, mostly the spider riders and less so the night goblins, but I've never played goblins befor. The army much good? Can you do a nightless goblin army? All savages of some form?

2: Yes nigh goblin less goblins or indeed orcs work well.

3: Some are more savage than others: Savage orcs are a favorite sublist created by the O&G player who loves a challenge.

To play O&G you have to expect for everything to go wrong at any given time, or thrash the pants off your opponent.

They are fun because of the wild variability and that is what attracts alot of top gamers- you really, really have to prepare for things to go wrong and lessen the impact.
