Hi, pics day today! Finished the latest add to my ever-growing merchants group: Rakko Senpaj. He trades in beasts and creatures, from those used just for their meat to the more exotic ones, used to fight in the arena or maybe for the private joy of some wealthy costumer. In this case, he captured a fierce and savage fighter, who will certainly make a great show in the fighting pit (and so a good profit). Rakko always goes with his account keeper, Ghu Yat. He's been genetically designed and bio-mechanically augmented to be something like a human computer.

After them, a couple of pics of my raider (wip page 6), painted and smoke-given.

Also some new wip: a forklift, along with some pallets, always keeping in mind to emprove the "realism" (I know sounds weird, but you get it) of my city.

Dude! I love the cart/cage I've been meaning to do something like that myself, but found that the Mournfang was too big for the cart (was going to use a Corpse Cart).

Meanwhile I painted my small space slann group, it was a lot of fun! I think I may add more elements in the future. I imagine the boss C'quu Ka'r and his retinue as a diplomatic team sent to start a commercial route. At the moment I'm filling his tub with water effect, but every thin layer takes forever to dry!

Excellent to see some paints on these last builds, brilliant realisation. I am especially fond of the decayed/rusty metallics, as on the space Slann leader's throne, or the mad-max-esque bike.

Ooh nice I like these a lot. Especially the vaguely Tyranid look to them. While I don't actually agree with the whole 'Tyranids are remains of Old Ones' theory, it is still nice to see a nod to that being a possibility

@KernelTerror: thanks, I've been trying to improve some techiniques and do some no-rust metallics, happy you like 'em!

@Pacific: my paintjobs are quite easy: base colour, dark brown wash, some orange/rusty wash and then sponged dark brown! Lately I'm also using some vallejo rust weathering effect, which I like very much for the opacity it gives.

@Ynneadwraith: glad you like them! I've been playing with a tzaangor head which was more tortoise-like, but in the end I decided for a more aggressive look!

Very dynamic model! My only (very minor) gripe would be that his skin looks very clean when compared to his equipment. Excellent freehand on that face though, it might be a shame to cover that uop with dirt and grime.

Thanks CommissarKhaine! In fact I wanted to give him a pale and polished skin to contrast the dust an corrosion of the vehicle.

keepin' on flyers, I painted (and finally managed to post some pics) my pod racer-inspired vehicle. Still no ideas about how to fit it into my background, but I must say I like it a lot, and hope you like it too! It's been a lot of fun to build it (you can see wip pics a bit behind) and especially to paint and weather.
