Holy moley!
Is it just me, or do others feel that the AT-43 striders/vehicles could use some close support weapons?

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

They don´t need close support weapons, that´s what the ground pounders are there for. The paper/scissor/rock system of mutual support works quite fine and keeps people from fielding the same list over and over.
