I painted this guy up years ago as part of my Tyranid army, and sold the whole thing off back in 2002. Now I'm curious as to what's become of this army (I modeled the "mace tail" before there was a mace tail option; I just think Ankylosaurs are cool).

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

That colourscheme is disturbingly similar to the way I have been painting my nids - must be a dakka mod thing I am using a browner green and a redder flesh but otherwise pretty much the same. What colour did you paint non-blade weapons (guns)?

Pretty much the same biege color, with some purple trim.

Due to the color scheme, sometimes the minis would blend so well into our terrain that we'd forget about entire units, only to find them tumbling to the table when we were cleaning up after a game.

I always quite liked the old carni, it just seems small next to the new one.

I've seen similar color schemes, but the bases weren't the same.

So.. no. I have not seen your lost children.
