Well I never played nids before and this is mostly a modeling exercise but it would be nice if all my work results in a halfway OK army.
Modeling-wise the 'stealers will be as is, gaunts as hybrids, rippers as cultist human waves. Warriors will be ogryn-based servitor/mutants, spore mines as suicide bombers, undecided about the 'fex.
Any suggestions welcome. The only constrictions are the final list must have stealers, guants and rippers.
HQ
Broodlord – 90 (Extended Carapace (+1 sv), Toxin Sacks (+1 S))

3 Warriors – 129 (Enhanced senses (+1 BS), Toxin Sacks (+1 S), Venom cannon, scything talons)

Also, I think Genestealer Magus = Zoanthrope sounds reasonable. I freakin' love Genestealer Cults!

those venom cannons become twin-linked, you might want to swap one for a BS.
or not, TL-VC can work too. But the BS is better anti-infantry and can get pens, making it about the same as the TL-VC for anti-tank.

OK, barbed strangler it is.

Warriors with ranged weapons suck. Drop the vc's and get some rending claws on those warriors and give them leaping or they'll just be left behind.
