I recently attended Adepticon 2008 and had a great time! Congrats to the organizers and participants for a great show!
I taught some of the painting classes there this year. I am considering doing so again next year, but attendance this year was lower.
So, I would like to ask the Dakka community, what sort of class would you be interested in, enough so to stay up after a tourney, or forgo drinking and partying at the show to attend in an off tourney hours slot? Some ideas I am considering are:
Constructing (a) Display Board(s) (Subjects include prop construction, airline transport regs and materials etc., lecture and examples only)
How to use airbrushes in the GW hobby (as GW is releasing a new airbrush soon)
Army Painting with the new GW clear paints.
Vehicle painting for the tabletop.
or your idea…?
Also would demos be better than lectures, and would you be swayed by getting materials in the class; prefer imagery examples and lecture over hands on/demo?
