Yes hello guys, I was wondering if anyone knew any good websites where II can buy rare earth magnets? I'm going to start magnetizing some of my future models like some vehicles for 40k.

Also what size magnets should I buy?

kjmagnetics.com . Or K&J... I can never remember. At anyrate, they have really good bulk prices, and their clearance section is often filled with cool stuff.

I usually get little 1/8" or so disks, but depending on the use I have gotten bricks, larger disks, rods, or whatever else caught my fancy.

I usually get mine from GuassBoys.com. I've ordered from them a few times, and have been very happy with their turn around times, etc. I use the 3mm x 1.5mm N38 Nickel Plated Disc Magnet for small figs to attach arms, etc. You'll need something larger for heavier parts or larger models.

RanTheCid and I and 5 other guys in our local 40K crowd put together an order as a group from K&J last year- I was quite pleased with the results.

My only problem with Lee Valley (as far as REMs go) is that their smallest is either 1/4" by 1/16" or 1/8" by 1/8"... I regularly use as small as 1/16" by 1/32" for crisis suit weaponry.

I order from kjmagnetics.com myself as well.
