Going to a 2K tourny in a little over a week and just found out one of the players will be fielding an absolutely filthy Storm of Chaos Tzeentch Daemon list. Play it once before seem to remember the following

Daemon Prince - mark of tzeentch, not sure what else

3 x 20ish Horrors w full command

5 screamers

5 flamers

Want some help/advice/tips/tricks for dealing with this list and the insane number of spells it can throw each turn

Oh will be playing Stanky knights with Grandmaster, 2 priests and a cady

Well, as it's still the old SoC-list, the spells aren't nearly as dangerous as with the upcoming daemon armybook. The list also doesn't look too bad, as one can make far nastier "flying circus"-type of lists with the SoC Tzeentch. It goes without saying that popemobile would be excellent against this list, as it can tie up stuff and the light bound spells are very dangerous vs daemons. As I don't know the exact setup of your list (troops, warmachines, etc) it's hard to give very specific advice but obviously you should engage in combat asap to avoid the magic barrage, as the horrors aren't that good in combat. You'll have to plan for prolonged fights, though, as it's probable that you'll be tied up even with the horrors for awhile. Obviously shoot the prince with cannons and stuff if you can and be mindful that he may have aetherblade which is murder vs empire knights.
