I'm a massive Death Korps of Krieg fan,
but they are not at war with themselves (well not any more)
500 years normally sorts things out!
As you are aware the Death Korps are fighting the heretical militia on Vraks and to keep my painting and inspiration fresh I'll devide my time between the two fighting sides.
I'm going to use Nurgle as inspiration for them, as filth and decay are rife in the trenches, foxholes and defense lines of the Renegade Militia, for they are not as well versed as the Death Korps in trench warfare............
But they have weapons and tanks beyond numbers with which to oppose the mighty Imperium.

"The Death Korps are as a singular weapon; terrifying to behold in action, unrelenting in the fray.
They can fight and indeed prevail in the worst of conditions and against the most terrible of foes,
but they are not a force to be used lightly or without caution"

Her is my WIP Chimera. Not that much detail I know.....but on Vraks the Renegades had so many and the fighting so fierce that personalization
rarely went beyond a paint scheme and heretical sign on the hull.
The other pictures are of my Renegade sergeant.
Let me know what you think.
And this is my first post on this site.

A very cool theme for an army. As well as a very good start to a blog that I'll be paying attention to as it progresses.

Your first renegade is definitely looking the part, if a little monotone (which is fine!). A nice gritty feel to him, which is to be expected in the trenches!

Welcome to Dakka! It'll be fun watching this project flesh out.

That trooper is looking quite nice. As GD stated, he is a little monotone, but in my opinion, that looks quite nice. As anyone that has seen my gritty, streaky miniatures can tell you... I love the more gritty and realistic feel to the uniforms or gear. This trooper of yours really looks the part.

I wish i could afford the book that has Vraks in it.
