Me again guys. Started work on Gaz for my Orks. He is too cool in the new Codex not to field at least a few times and I have had the model from the time he came out so I figured I might as well get hime painted up. Some of you were interested in how I did things from when I painted the Nobs I posted earlier this week. I tried to take some shots each time I stopped working on him so you could follow along.

Primer coat and the basic skin with the old GW orc flesh wash.

Then a shot of the skin finished

Basic armor blocked out and some inking done along with the basic red

Lastely for today the final red, and a pic with the gob and some checkers. I wont glue it in till the end and its needs battle damage and weathering anyways, like the rest of the model.

Will try to keep you guys updated as I go.

April 26 update, battle damage and some weathering. More to come this evening.

Your brushwork is really incredible. It's almost a shame that huge iron gobs are so freaking cool, because the clean job you've done of the face, gums, tongue, teeth and bionics is just amazing, almost too good to cover up!

Great job, the wire work where its stripped is very very good, especially with the black gaps between them. Excellent weathering too! Cant wait to see more!

I am very impressed. The reds are very colorful. I almost feel you should have some red blood smatter on the powerklaw to match.

Awesome, the ork skin and detailing around his mouth/gums etc is really great.
But am I the only one that thinks this model deserves a lot more for his base? Maybe you like to keep your basing simple, which is fair, but a little more attention might add to the overall model.
Still, GREAT job

The enemy is within. Don't confuse me with him.

Thanks guys for all the kind words. Yeah I like the paint scheme GW uses on alot of their stuff so youll find it very similar. The wires were fun but take a stedy hand. The trick with the red is galzing it over as the final step. this is all Vellejo model color, they make great paint. Tried the blood spatter on the pK but just could not get it right, so rather than have it jacked up I went clean. Thanks again for all the kind words.

Welcome to dakka Kato, but posting on old, dead threads, especially with one-liners that contribute little is a no-no round here. Generally, after a thread goes off the first page, unless you're are the op, then leave it alone. Have a look at the last post date too. Check the forum rules for more info. We won't get too angry though, you're new
