Saw these on TMP, and thought some might find them interesting:

http://www.zinnfiguren-martin-hille.de/

Click on "Shop"
then "Tin Figures"
then "28mm Teutonische Sturmpioniere"

They look like they'd fit right in the GW universe, they have spiky bitz, but sadly, no skulls

As far as I can find, there is no US retailer of these figures.

I have no idea what the conversion rate is or how much they cost USD.

Are they more expensive than GW's metal IG?

I likes a lot too, anybody can ballpark the pricing?

I heart SYR 8766

For all your bravado, if the US Army decided to invade, Wisconsin is it?, in force supported by a heavy bombing campaign for the month before, weeks of shelling from battleships on Lake Superior, and a full tank thrust (crushing the cows beneath the treads), I don't think that your .22 is going to make much of a difference really... At some point these sorts of decision-making skills lump you into the same camp as the Lehman Brothers, the White Star Line shipping company, and mothers who smoke during pregnancy.

1 Euro = 1.5582 U.S. dollars, according to Google, at least today.

So the five-figure pack at 20 Euros would run you about $30+.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

OK, those are nice. Who doesn't like IG wearing Pikelhauben?

Power Fist, Plasma, Grenade Launcher, Heavy Bolter & Lascannon options.

But wow, those aren't cheap!

Not bad, but they look like they've been hitting those rations pretty hard.

8 Guys for 18 Euro is not that expensive I think.
As I know from a german Forum this guy is also working on heavilyarmoured Stormtroopers, Beefeatergrenadiers and:

18 euro's (1 8-man squad) works out as $28 on the yahoo currency converter (probably closer to $30 for purchasing stuff).

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Oh my god, Romans in space!! Those are so going to be my Inquisitorial Storm Troopers!

The infantry of the Holy Space Empire look pretty cool too, though I agree they are about two weeks from the GW ban hammer. I don't know that I would use them, but I can definitely see them look good on the field.

Now, if they were late 18th/early 19th century Nassau troops with lasguns, I would be breaking out the credit card to buy Euros!

Nah, GW cant do them anything.
I think you can buy them for more then a half year now.
There are no trademarked GW names used and no direct copies of GW Parts.
Those are just prussians in Space armed with laserrifles.
